I had a wonderful system for tarp camping out of the back of my old Volvo Cross Country Station wagon for the entirety of my undergrad years. I kayaked a lot and camped by the rivers I floated. Most kayak rental places would also have a riverside campground. I had mud tires on that car which got a lot of sideways looks, and a Thule roof rack that would hold my kayak, and on those weekends where I'd rent a boat instead of brining my own, a Thule car topper cargo box. I had 10 powerful neodymium magnets I used with a 20x12 tarp that attached to my roof rack with lumber clamps and the sides of the car with the magnets. The raised rear hatch was aluminum so the magnets didn't work on it, but that was OK. The fold flat seats gave me an outstanding place to sleep.

Hey Steve, even with having lots of ventilation, you need to have an CO detector. It's not about keeping O2 in the air, it's keeping CO out of your lungs. As you breathe in even low amounts of CO, it semi-permanently binds to your red blood cells and doesn't allow O2 to be carried by the affected cells. You could suffocate yourself in an O2 rich environment due to long-term (overnight, or maybe a couple days depending on the concentration in the air) continuous inhaling of CO.

Your videos are a refreshing alternative to so much crap that's everywhere. Appreciate it. I had to give up the step 2s but cheers to you no matter.
