You have a lot of very interesting content on your channel, where you take chances for content. Walmart, though, is a delicate area. And this could affect a lot of folks. Pushing the boundaries at Walmart I feel was taking a big chance of further eroding the privilege of vehicle sleeping at Walmart, a practice that really helps people to be able to do. They allow parking and sleeping, not camping. You may not have been caught this time, but may have been noticed, which could increase the chance that the next sign they put up will say ‘No overnight parking’. All for the sake of creating KZbin content.

My husband, an avid fan, passed away this past Sunday night. This is the first episode I've watched without him in a couple of years. I've got all my ducks in a row, the service isn't until next weekend, so I'm keeping my promise to him this weekend - I'm going camping! I'm going for five nights, actually, and I'm probably going to spend most of the time sitting by the campfire, moving the wood around with the poker that he made. Thank you, Steve for making the last few month of his life a little more bearable - he went back and rewatched every single camping trip, as well as the step 2 channel. I'm sorry he didn't get to see a new one before he passed, but I'm very glad to hear that you are feeling better now 😃

My thoughts exactly. I’m in the Uk and for me camping meant I could actually have holidays and from the age of 17 till age 30 I lived in a wide selection of vehicles. So many of the vanlife ,camping videos on KZbin make it look like you need every new expensive gadget to do it. Sure that just puts of a lot of people from just getting out and having adventures.

Pro tip: Always carry paracord. If you're ever somewhere you can't get an anchor in the ground, or if there's really strong wind, tie a length of paracord to each corner of your tent about half way up. Tie the other end to a decent sized rock. I use this at the beach and on the river a lot due to high winds, but I usually bury the rock about 8-10" deep and stick another rock above it once I fill the hole in. Had a cheap chinese amazon tent survive all night in near hurricane force wind last summer because of this method.

Steve pushing the boundaries as usual. Love it. Thanks. I'd never thought of the Jackery/Slow Cooker combo before. That's nice to know. Maybe one idea to get more mileage out of the Jackery in that situation is to start the cooking while you're still driving and have the jackery plugged in to charge from your car and keep it topped up.. Great content.

I was showing my husband & at first he said no so I showed photos of where my son once worked at Canadian Tire down the street & he goes OH! Then he said you get excited over the smallest things. I said I'm Canadian I'm proud & going stealth camping with Steve is a BIG thing to get excited over. Hope you get back to feeling 100 percent and thank you for thinking of us even when you're not feeling well. Take care.
