I agree totally with your answer to the Christianity. I took care of my Mother who had Alzheimer’s she got it at 56 early onset. I walked into a store with her and the worker there told me my Mother was sick because I didn’t have enough faith. I actually thought God told us our lives would not be perfect but he would be with us every step of the way. My mother taught my young boys patience and how to handle disappointments. Mom gets sick we can’t go. I call it the power of the powerless. I have boys that want to help have so much patience with us and that was taught by my mother. She is whole now in heaven and I am so happy thinking of her as whole again. Happy Anniversary and may God Bless you!

What we noticed (and we watched "United Bates of America" and "Bringing up Bates") you are both very competitive 🤗but You do things with Jesus in the middle and prayerfully make decisions to always try to follow God's Will (Don't hopefully all Christians want to follow God's Will☺️). That is what keeps a marriage together is giving it all/ surrendering both of your wills to God. Nobody's perfect but he IS so why wouldn't we want God in charge of our lives and relationships. Happy Anniversary 🤗, this was such a lovely video. Lisa and I have been together for 19 years and civil partnerships for 17 . We find it hard even now to understand the fact that we both are leaders because both our past relied on us doing everything in a relationship, so we do generally get stressed at each other because it’s hard to share the load , because the other person actually wants to 🤔. Neither of us had that kind of support before, plus respect and love. We both believe God needed us to go through things we did , to reach a place of happiness and genuine peace. Take care xx

Great video. Let’s remember that God’s love looks different than what the present culture calls love. Of course He tells us to love others…but to love others is to point them to Christ. (as you both said-the gospel!) And pointing them to Christ is pointing them to His Word. He who keeps my commands is He who loves me. (John 14) There is the important connection that Christ’s love is not the emotional worldly love that so many seem to think it is. But it is an obedient love because we adore who He is! I really wish people/couples your age would watch your videos. You'd be a great inspiration and example for them. A lot of coyples your age dont seem to not take their marriage seriously. My husband and i have been married 42 years this past January, and we spent it in the hospital because i had a stroke. Not a very nice way or place to celebrate. Loved this video! I’m married with grown children and my best advice to others is Love and respect each other at all times. When someone says they never have fights I know that’s not true because no one is going to agree on everything all the time. God made us all different and special so it’s ok to agree to disagree.
