I have a golden doodle her name is Lucy. We are so in love with her. I will tell you that the golden doodle comes with a few of their own maintenance things. Yes, they don't shed, but she is like a Swiffer dust mop, she collects dirt, stickers.... We also have a golden retriever, his name is Gus, he sheds like crazy but he is easier to brush than Lucy and he is easier to get mud off of. I would recommend both!!! Love that yal and other Bates started a YT channel! Such a fan of the show (and now Evan and John) on UPTv and when yr season is over its always been a big dang it! Such fun watching all the kids grow up all these yrs and marry and have kids. It must seem very weird to think people are so interested in your lives. I realize its just small parts of your lives that we see. Still even through the ups and downs of yals families.. I think its human nature to enjoy watching other families, whether they are neighbors, church friends etc. So I guess I think of yal and some of the Duggar fam as neighbors! I have a bernedoodole (bernise mountain dog and poodle) and they are just the sweetest. Yes they are quite expensive but they are worth it. When we were looking for a puppy we considered a goldendoodle. My puppy is 7 months old and is 50lbs so yes they get big, but they are so cute! 100% recommend any kind of doodle! They are the best!

You should totally get a Goldendoodle! I am bringing mine home on Dec 27. Can’t wait! They are the best dogs, great with kids, and smart! You can get affordable ones. Keep your eye out on the Facebook doodle groups. Find a family that just does it for fun versus a fancy breeder that is just in it for the money. Plus from a family they are well socialized and better dogs, in my opinion. So yes! You have to get one!

Don't give up on puppy. Our girls have been wanting one for a while. So we talked daddy into getting not just one but 2😜. We looked at goldendoodle's they are good dogs we just couldn't get one by Christmas they are expensive but will be Layla's best friend it's so wonderful to see how the puppy begins to bond❤ good luck

I have a miniature poodle, and my cousin has a standard poodle, both awesome, intelligent, and great dogs! But according to my dogs groomer, all poodles and poodle mixes need to be groomed regularly. Depending on the weather, every 3-5 weeks. And it can get expensive!! I spend about $100 per month on just grooming! My cousin spends more because their dog is bigger!
