Great tips, I think I’m going to try journaling again, from my experience it absolutely does help get things off your mind. Stoicism and Christianity have been a big help to me recently. I have terminal cancer and family problems. I hope the toxic people that were in my life find peace but I cannot be a part of their lives as they seem hell bent on making my life miserable. I cannot control them spreading lies about me, and so I’m not going to stress out over it. And if people believe those lies, well again I have no control over that, I defended myself with my side of the story, that’s about all I can do. I’m not going to spend my last days living in a bad soap opera. Life is beautiful, there are so many interesting and fun things in it, and I just want to be a positive force. We always hear about the bad things and the bad people, and they definitely are out there, but there are genuinely good people out there as well and I hope to be more like them everyday. Kinda corny I know 😂 but if you’re a young man like I used to be (mid 30s now) and having a tough time, please know that things do get better. My 20s had some high highs but some very very low lows. Love yourself and others, things will improve with age and wisdom

Thanks for sharing. Ancient stoic practices are exact. No room for attitudinal frills. Disney-esque music, as if squirelling in from "the room next door", is intrusive, adding nothing to the content.
