When you start the stock car, turn on the fuel pump and watch the carburetor sight glass (small circle window, one on each end). When you see fuel it’s safe to start. It’s better to do that first, then crank the engine over for a second then while cranking turn on the ignition. Follow up with fan, water pump last so you have full battery to start.

Normally the battery on most stock cars is in a tunnel in front of the left rear tire for left turn weight distribution reasons. At least that's how it is on the current-gen nascars, hope this helps!

That is correct. You have to remove the tire. The batteries are designed to slide in and connect with a female/male blade terminal instead of cables for quick battery changes in a race if necessary

The battery in a nascar can be always located on the left side of the car for the weight balance as well as it's a lot safer for them to be encased in a steel container beneath the car away from the driver. Thank you.

The battery of a stock car/NASCAR is usually located in the frame to the left when you take off the left rear tire. There might be a little hatch or something that you need to open and you should be able to slide it out.👍

The battery is in the rear driver side wheel well. You have to remove the driver side rear tire and there is a compartment on the front side of the wheel well. But there should be charging pickups in the rear bumper I believe

Hey dude just so u know ur fuel line probably doesn’t have a check valve. If this is the case next time u try to start it after sitting so long instead of using starting fluid put a blow nozzle on an air compressor and put it where u fill fuel and push air into the fuel tank while trying to start. If there is an air compressor available. That should ox ur problem. Just make sure u put ur hand around the tank inlet to create pressure

Take the rear driver tire off, panel in the front of that wheel well is where the battery should be. Basically behind the driver seat. Hopefully a normal battery has been put in and not the typical nascar battery is still there.

I do not know the answer for #1 so I will get back to you on that, but #2, a stock car is what this type of racecar is called. A "NASCAR" is not a thing. NASCAR is the organization that it races within. Calling it a NASCAR is the equivalent to calling LeBron James an NBA. NASCAR is an acronym for National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing. So grammatically, you are calling the car and National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing, which doesn't even make sense. Edit: To answer the first question, they used to use chokes until the 2012 season when they switched to electric fuel injection. The car that James has, however, does have a choke at it is a late 90s era car.
