2016 F15 N55 aren’t those the two most important things normal buyers are looking for though?
@mattX54 жыл бұрын
Sean Boyle not at all. The whole reason people buy luxury suvs is for performance, practicality and technology. Its by far the slowest car in the class, with an embarrassing 6.9 sec 0-60. Even my 4 year old X5 with only 15 horsepower more can do 0-60 in over second faster. Lexus just doesn’t know how to make good performance engines anymore, every single one of their models lags behind the competition when it comes to performance. For practicality, it’s close to the bottom of the class due to the sloping roofline which impedes rear headroom and trunk space. And finally, for technology, it’s hilariously behind. Step into a new X5 or GLE, they look like they’re 10 years ahead of this car.
@johndoyle32324 жыл бұрын
2016 F15 N55 I agree. If you’re looking for performance, Lexus isn’t obviously your first choice. I mentioned normal buyers though. I’m taking a reliable car that is gonna stay out of the shop over a 0-60 time any day of the week. I don’t plan on racing anyone to work or to the grocery store any time soon, and you shouldn’t either in your 4 year old X5 lol

Love the car, love the review, great job guys! As far as the fuel economy goes, just mention the official EPA ratings the same way you mention the HP and torque. The ratings may not be 100% accurate, but it gives us a ballpark compared to other cars’ ratings.
@redlion1454 жыл бұрын
Those numbers are shit. They're about as close to accurate as "F sport" is to being fast. Yeah, if you squint your eyes as it passes you on the street, this car looks somewhat quick. And yeah, if you round off the MPG number to the nearest 10 you might get a decent guess at the real world fuel consumption. But nobody needs either of those in a review, because everyone realizes that looking fast is subjective, and MPG depends on so many factors other than the car (city or highway driving, the driver's habits, even brand of fuel used and octane rating) that it's fairly useless to remark on.

As someone that still drives his 2001 RX300 can confirm, the chromed out windows are still cool. great for decals.

I want the old Intro back
@Kecken1234 жыл бұрын
Back to perfection without the cheezy audiotrack during the intro. You probably saved some money and raised the production value back to where its been. So pleased.

Honestly the RX450h would be dream daily luxury crossover.

Thanks guys. I think I have a more solid appreciation for a luxury suv for my family that I do believe is reliable due its drivetrain. now off to find a trip comfort and mpg review.

The green eco light indicates that at that point in time the engine is operating in the most economic mode. It’s not an indicator that the car is in Eco mode

This intro is sick - it's like the anti-click bait

There is gloss back surrounding the shift knob. So you have a touchscreen, a touch pad, and a touchscreen phone. Sure you will never get in to an accident using any of those things while you are driving!! Smart!!

I love that analog clock.

Finally. A real car. Not a Kia or Hyundai. A true luxury car, it works, it holds value, it's great to drive and own. Nice job. But, boys, get over the touchscreen, work your phone while you drive versus the car and then you get to test crash avoidance.

4:51 “She does car reviews with her dog” HAHAHAAHAH . Idk why I found that so funny
@NONARCS4 жыл бұрын
She really does. It's for chicks obviously. Seems she has enough cash to sponsor these guys. Her reviews are nothing compared to these though. She needs a Jacob and Yuri to help her.

I saw a couple videos and I facepalmed. It's obviously aimed at empty headed blondes.

sampsalol each demographic has the right to enjoy the type of reviews they find relevant. No need to facepalm

Good video and review of a super reliable car. I have the 2019 LC 500 which is just an amazing car. You guys should do a review on it.

I envy you. It’s easily the most beautiful car being sold today. Andie the lab did a review of it without the dog. 😐

It makes me laugh that everybody wants the single infotainment screen and then complain that it has to split the screen. Thank you Acura, for being smarter than that.

Love you guys. Very unbiased reviews as always unlike the annoying ones we have in Europe that criticises every car that’s not European.
