San Antonio is a 1st class municipality in the province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines. It is located in the central part of Luzon Island, about 17 kilometers from the provincial capital of Palayan City. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 83,060 people.
San Antonio is an agricultural town where rice and poultry are the major products. Soft broom, locally called Walis Tambo, from the tiger grass is the specialty cottage product of the town.
How to go to San Antonio:
The municipality is accessible via the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX). Turning north-east and exiting the NLEX at the San Simon junction, the journey continues to Arayat, the last town of Pampanga before reaching Cabiao. From Cabiao, one can opt to continue towards the town of San Isidro and then take a left turn towards Jaen and then before Jaen town proper take another turn towards San Antonio.
San Antonio is also accessible by bus from Manila. The bus ride takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
