Attempting to make "friends" at work is as foolish an idea as standing in front of an incoming train and a one shot way to get manipulated. You're in a competition and they WILL try to get ahead of you. That's how business works. Either you're not experienced or you're in the business of hornswoggling. You can be a completely reasonably friendly coworker without drinking a beer with them after work. Just because you have the logical insight that you're at work, does not mean you need to be an asshole to everyone around you. That's called self-control and basic human decency. If you feel the impulsive to need to drink with everyone you meet at work, that is a personal problem and one you may want to have addressed before it becomes a situation you find less than ideal. I also don't believe in "friends" in general, be it in or out of work. This is a delusional concept. Humans are inherently self-centred. I don't trust people and have zero interest in getting unreasonably close to strangers. If I must work with them, I will. Otherwise, I leave them alone and I expect the same in return.

This really made me appreciate the process. Currently I am a team of ME. I do my own thumbnails, vids, edits, compressing, shooting, etc... And its time consuming and at times difficult, but knowing that I have 260+ subs off of the work I did myself, makes me feel pretty darn good. If I had a team, I could mainstream a few of my tasks, and stick to shooting, and thinking of content. This really invigorated me!

Honestly, you don’t need a vehicle to get everywhere here. There’s public transportation everywhere and there’s a big push for people to use it. But as the culture, we prefer not to use it because it’s looked down upon as something that’s used by poor people essentially. People would rather Uber or ask for a ride or be stuck at home versus ride public transportation or get caught walking off of a bus or train. As far as business professionals, they will catch a train to their work area if they have to park in a particular space and traffic is particularly bad where they go to work at. But even then, some people would rather sit in traffic for hours versus riding public transportation. It’s just a culture thing to be honest.
