She is the closest entity in Star Wars lore to a primordial god of Chaos. Like the most common version of the ancient Sumerian and Akkadian mythological female creator deity of Tiamat. It’s a nice touch balancing out the Mortis Ones mythology, who otherwise have no impact in the stories or lore beyond the Clone Wars CGI’s Mortis arc. With the inclusion of Abeloth, the role of the One’s seems to be to stand between maintaining a greater balance making galactic civilization and maybe even advanced life possible. Without them, also adds to the importance of the Jedi needing to be in balance with the Force, in order to keep everything from falling apart to chaos. Without the Jedi or the Ones, Chaos would reign and there would be no galactic civilization, making both Anakin, Luke and Revan absolutely essential to the greater lore.

The only problem is ... there is no such thing as "light side". -_- You got a good point tho ... Abeloth indeed is what happened, when rules of The Force are broken. I do not see Abeloth being in a d- movie. They cannot stand a strong male character, Luke, who took decades to learn and become one with the ebb and flow of the force for the good of the galaxy. The Bedlam Spirit, Tilotny, is her mother and far more powerful. The Bedlams are children of the celestials and they're just so far above Abeloth it isn't even comparable. Wutzek alone is more powerful than all of the Bedlam Spirits combined. The celestials collectively are weaker than the Father of Shadows. The father wouldn't even notice Abeloth. Supernatural Encounters is canon to legends, too.
