As a woman, I say Work on yourself and understand you to completeness. When you are grounded you know what is acceptable, the values you want, and will attract like minded individuals. Start by taking a personality test. There are a lot of them. Personally, I found the Myers-Briggs more helpful than any other. It also indicates what are your partners that complement your personality. Usually introverts need an extrovert and vice versa. As an extrovert, it’s frustrating to talk to another extrovert. Can’t get a word in! When you do evaluate yourself, know what your triggers are and dissect it. This associated with trauma and you will need to address it. Dr Gabor Mate has some excellent vids on that.

I feel like all women have one or two of these issues, but sometimes it's just a sign of immaturity. They grow out of it especially if you bring it to their attention right off the bat. No one wants to have to fix anyone and no one is perfect, but if she's generally pretty good, but kinda has some areas to work on, it's worth the effort to give her a nudge in the right direction as long as it's just one or two things. Big red flag is a woman who gradually stops you talking to/spending time with your friends. I worked with a guy for several years and we would go out as a group of friends after work or meet up for birthdays at the weekends, for example. He met a girl and he then stopped coming out with us, ignored our calls/texts and eventually we never heard from him again. He's now married to her.
