I believe you hit the nail on the head with quality shoes, a nice overcoat, and a suit. When it comes to cologne I encourage men to find scents they feel match their personality. That can make the initial impression much more interesting if you wear something that I don’t smell on 90% of other cologne wearers.

S.O.G., There's a brand of jeans you and your viewers may want to check out if you haven't heard of them. The brand is called "Sugar Cane jeans", made in Japan. They make a mean pair of dark denim, in fact, I think all they make is dark denim. (raw denim) And they make different cuts. You can order them on line. I don't know of any stores who sell/carry 'em in the continental U.S. I first seen them in a very high end tailor shop owned by a Japanese tailor here in Hawaii. They're about $200.

Man, when I think of style, I generally think so much about color, fit, pattern, and maybe brand, (which are all important) that some times I forget about the powerful element of TEXTURE.
