I just wanted to thank you. Started watching you at least 2 years ago (I've received a salute before lol). Not sure exactly but I believe you had around 50k subs at the time. I have applied a lot of what you taught. Lost 80lbs total at the age of 30. Cleaned and organized my apartment. I implemented a lot of what you discussed in your bachelor pad, bedroom and bathroom videos. Also upped my dress and style. Anyways I started dating and ended up in a relationship. We are expecting our first child in October. You make excellent content. Down to earth, relevant and accessible and I appreciate that you continue to produce valuable content for men. It is much needed and I encourage young men to apply some of this to their lives and see what happens. Sometimes its just about taking better care of yourself and putting yourself out into the world. There's something so satisfying when I watch a video like this and all that's listed is totally in my wardrobe.......... only that leather jacket has eluded me for a while now, as I'm very picky when selecting jackets, cause they're meant to last longer than other regular clothing and they're the most visible part of your outfit.

One of the 20 women checking in. Great suggestions, as always. If I had to add to the list...shawl collar sweaters. As I’ve gotten older, I’m less impressed by athletic/collector sneakers. They’re great with sweats or basketball shorts while playing ball and running errands, but for a step above errandwear...meh. LASTLY, the shade of grey lowkey important. I respond to a true or charcoal grey. Too light or too dark doesn’t give the same effect. Lol.

I’m 5.5 feet tall. It’s hard to find clothes that fit properly. I’ve been getting better and better buying and wearing new clothes. It was especially hard at my height and being 200lbs and at my heaviest 212llbs! I wore large and extra large clothing. I now wear medium shirts and boys Levi’s slim jeans. I’m under 140 now- close to 135lbs and I’m 52. I’m at my ideal weight right now and clothes fit so much better! I’m not swimming in t shits and wearing baggy jeans. That right there sucks big time. One last thing I think a gentleman needs is to practice an attitude of gratitude. I’m extremely grateful for what I have and I think I look a lot better than I did at 30 and 40. Thanks for your channel. It’s really informative and helpful. Good stuff.

Hello Jeff. Hope you are well. I agree with you in regards to the fitted suit and the leather jacket but I don't fully understand the gray sweatpants. If i had to choose as to why women like that it's because sometimes women feel under dressed around men who are put together well. I'm speaking from experience. I wear a shirt and tie to work every day. Not because I have to but because i want to. The days I wear shirt and jeans I get different kinds of compliments and it's almost like they are happy that I'm not "over dressed" and match them when they wear shirts and jeans to work.

You can go wrong with a black T actually. Black doesn't suit everyone, believe me. It's a myth. Navy blue is often much better, especially if you have really fair skin.

But my grandfather was transferred from the Brooklyn Navy Yard to the Philadelphia Navy Yard Im the late 60’s. I’m 59. So , I have spent parts of my childhood , teens and adult life in Philadelphia. I lived in North Philadelphia off of Lycoming ave and Nice streets and Sparks street off of Ogontz ave in West Oak Lane. We called it Sommerville back in the day. My sister and her family live in East Oak Lane. Not to far from Mt. Airy. Im in Philadelphia a lot. Got a Philadelphia heart. Lol. I appreciate how you handle yourself. You show your confidence but you also display humility which is highly commendable. Do you remember the shoe outlet on 3rd street off of Market? We used to get our Stacy Adams there. There was a cheesesteak spot right between 2nd and 3rd streets on Market that was bangin’ . Also Boyd’s on Market street. I got my first Yves St. Laurent suit there. It cost $99! A lot back then. We also shopped on Germantown ave all the time. And anywhere else we could get a bargain. I grew up like you, loving to look and smell decent . You must have had a dad , grandfathers and uncles like me who paved the way for your sartorial success! Been wanting to hit you up for a minute. Keep up the good work! 👍🏾

You are right on most things. I prefer the chic casual grand pa look on a younger man than the younger look on a older man. For example, the grand pa cap ( LL Cool Jay style) and the jersey sweater mixed with jeans and casual brown leather shoes is so cool. It makes casual look chic, comfortable and confident. To me leather jacket is trying too hard. Unless it looks very used, old leather and comfortable looking.

I have to make myself behave re: my guy's hoodies! He has a really good quality HBCU collection. I swear I want to lift all of them from his closet! Women LOVE to wear their boyfriends' tees, dress shirts(!), (and in my case--hoodies) which is why women's fashion has seen a rise in many borrowed menswear styles like the boyfriend jean, watch, and jacket. After an awesome night with bae, wearing his clothes into the office the next morning not only keeps him on my mind, it's also a unspoken fun bragging rite to enjoy amongst the gals in the office. 🎉💻🏆📋😘📅👑📂💄💼👏
