According to the Google, a Russian platoon is about 28 troops... _OR_ between 15 and 60 soldiers. If three platoons are destroyed, that's 45 to 84 to 180 troops. Being a mechanized unit, it's probably between 45 and 84, and _NOT_ the 180 number. Sadly, from Russia's perspective, the loss of the vehicles is probably the greater tragedy.
