Not being interested in football at all, David Beckham was never really on my radar. Until , that is, I witnessed him standing in line in absolute humility, for hours and hours waiting his turn to pay his final respects to Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as she lay in State in Westminster Hall. He was dressed somberly and did nothing to draw attention to himself whatsoever. He simply queued like everyone else. He gained my admiration that day, and, no doubt, that of many other sorrowing Brits.

Oh come on, do you really believe he was there out of respect? If you knew the real backstory, you wouldn't be as supportive towards him. He has been after an MBE for years on end, ranting in outrageously vile and rude emails, about how he deserves an knighthood and that people who sing, dance ect, are given them yet not him. He isn't genuine, even when he's done stuff with charities, it's well documented that he demands huge fees and has even refused to help charities because he's bitter about never being knighted. The late Queen had his cards marked and he knew it, even referring to her as a salty old witch in leaked emails, so don't be fooled by him, he isn't genuine by any stretch of the imagination. He queued up hoping to be noticed by the press, in turn hoping King Charles would also notice and later on give him the knighthood he's been desperately trying to get for years. David Beckham is as slimy as they come, trust me.

I agree with the comment below, these are two people who to be honest unless you were a footie fan or a teenager inot pop music you might have been excused for missing them however, they have grown into a very interesting couple in as much as - they are both very successful which has been gained through hard work determination and not a little talent. They seem to be have very strong family values and indeed a very supportive extended family who all get aong - not unlike Princess Catherin's family. They know how to act in situations like the state banquet and other state occasions they have been invited to and unlike many that have come from 'celeb' beginnings however minor or insignificant that might have been they do not seem to go out of their way in any given situation to draw attention to themselves especially if it is something that is for example a charity event they like others who are using their 'fame' to help others as best they can want to draw the attention to the good causes and they are merely the vehicle to raise attention and of course money.

David Beckham Looked happy and confident, Victoria looked like she was scared stiff she was going to step wrong.
