Best color IMO, I settled for white due to a dozen more important criteria. NOT a fan of fake or superficial carbon tho, it must be functional like the roof. If it doesn't save mass or add quality I'll pass. The fenders are factory carbon but would look like a half repaired accident rig if not painted.

I still own my 2011 E92. I've owned everything from Golf GTI to Porsche 911 to audi r8 plus, lambo hurracan, none of them can compare to the all round greatness of the E92 M3. The fuel eco sucks, but that sound is unmatched. With a few simple mods ( either the oem exhaust mod or Decat and sound dampening removal) you can get a sound that is completely unique on the road. Nothing sounds as good as this thing imo. It's not the fastest car around by modern standards, but its a drifting dream and I love it. Mine is creeping towards 30k miles now, im tempted to slow down use so that I can maintain it for the inevitable future classic status.

The E9X M3 is a future classic for sure. It’s timeless design coupled with the fact it’s the last naturally aspirated M car (and only M3 to have a V8) will keep this desirable well into the future. The engine has so much character and I love how you have to wring it’s neck to get every last bit of performance from it. The S65B40 didn’t win international engine of the year 5 years running for nothing. I’ve got a 2011 comp pack E92 M3 in Mineral White and I love it more every time I drive it. I’ve had it 3 years and I’ve yet to feel any signs of boredom. I’ve done a fair few mods to it over the years and the one that made such a big improvement was the OEM exhaust mod. I went for the 2.5 option and it’s perfect imo. Gentle on the throttle and you’d think it was stock, stamp your foot down and the car truly comes alive and roars like mad. Paul at PCW Exhaust Mods did mine, but Chris Batten at Mod Stock does equally as good work. Definitely get in touch because it’s reasonably priced to do. I’ve also fitted a GTS style carbon splitter to the front which sets it off perfectly, although your M performance corner splitters look good too. Next week I’ll be having the full Eventuri setup fitted to the car: Carbon plenum, intake and airbox lid. I can’t wait. It’ll be like a V8 CSL. Certainly not cheap, but it completely transforms the sound of the engine, and imo induction noise > exhaust noise. I also upgraded my angel eyes to a crisp white to make it look a bit more modern. Fitted a genuine m performance spoiler like yours, gloss black M3 boot badge (same size as oem) and had a leather flat bottom steering wheel finished to oem spec. Spacers finish the look of the car and give it a great stance. I opted for 12mm all round but most people go 15 up top and 12 rear. Enjoy the car, it’s truly an end of an era machine and I plan to keep mine for a long time.

@@incognito96 there is no doubt that a rs3 with a few mods performes well and is at least faster than an m3 - and probably more reliable. But still they are two different worlds. It probably depends on what you expect from a car and how often you use it. The S65 is kind of a "Diva"...that is true...but when Divas perform they are often better than others and can make the difference. So maybe for you the rs3 is the better and more stress less choice. And finally this is all about personal taste and preferences. Nothing to argue about for too long.
