What an amazing guitar. Fantastic review! I had seen a couple of reviews of the GTR 800 both pro and standard. The 900 looks like a guitar that will very soon be in my collection. Especially in the British Racing green coIour. I already often use Bluetooth connections rather than cables so it totally fits my philosophy

Well I now have a GTRS 800 DPP. Connected it first time through the app. Since that first time I have not managed to connect it again and get any sound. Can't find any groups or forums to help solve the issue. Any suggestions?

I've got four Mooer pedals on my board now - there may be more to follow. So, I rather trust Mooer, so I bet it is a good ax - but imnho, they messed up by not stacking volume/tone & giving us TWO of the "smart knobs". TYVM.

Great demo, I know this sounds weird but thanks for showing that it can just be … a regular guitar lol. All the demos kinda leave that out lol.

Thank you…I think that’s a really important part of the guitar…that you can use it like a normal guitar

Great video! Thank you for that. How is the tuning? Does using tremolo makes it out of tune? I would really appreciate response, thanks.

I only had the guitar for one night and then had to give it back to the music shop…and I don’t remember much about the guitar other than me liking the neck - sorry!!

So it's like Native Instrument's Guitar Rig.

A little like a variax with a newer interface. The variax feature that I thought was super powerful is the ability to totally change the “virtual” tuning of the guitar with a dial on the instrument. You could even customize these tunings.

If this guitar had the ability to instantly change tunings (like the Variax) I’d be very interested.

@@SlammRecords Maybe there is pitch pedal built in? Not as powerful as the Variax but still handy.

Do even more with the Peavey AT-200 but guitarist snobbery ensured that it wouldn't succeed (I have _four_ of them + Variax JTV-59 + Variax 700) kzbin.info/www/bejne/bIGxq3qvr76Gabcsi=yPeVXX_uawR_DPyk

Sadly it's pretty far from the Variax, the GTRS appears to only use the magnetic pickups and just digital EQ adjustments to them while the Variax uses piezos before the digital EQ shaping - so looking at the acoustic models the Variaxes are much more convincing in the sound department and with the Variax you can even change pot & capacitor values. The GTRS is still really cool but it's more a portable rig & practice rig GTRS: 100 amps/effects Variax:100 guitars/tunings

I have the Mooer multi fx pedal great unit… my only concern with the GTRS S900 is if you have any electrical issues bet your bottom dollar loads of wires inside?🤔
@Robstafarian11 ай бұрын
My concern would be sourcing the PCBs rather than the number of wires: wiring is field replaceable.

Lets face it - you won't be passing that guitar down to your grandchildren. ....But it's looks super cool, is cheap as dirt, and highly capable. I'm a gigging musician. I LIKE to busk and play seedy bars full of drunk a*ssholes screaming "SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL!!! SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL!!!" ....while I'm trying to remember the words and chords for "Wild Horses". More than one drunk has attempted to p*ss on my guitar while I'm on a p*ss break after I told them to "STFU or this guitar is going straight up your a$$hole" So I don't like to gig with my Martin Anymore Also, my pedalboard cost 5 times what that Martin cost. 33 times what my Gretsch Jim Dandy Parlor axe set me back. It weighs more than a Chevy Tahoe, and dims the stage lights. When I finally find an outlet that works. I had to go back to college, borrow $1/2 million dollars from the US Gover'mit, and get dual master's degrees in physics and electrical engineering to put it together, and it still usually won't work on stage, no matter how much I kick and swear at it. So I'm VERY interested in a reliable, battery powered, cheap, disposable, all in one electric /acoustic sounding guitar / rig I can plug into my Bose S-1and p*ss off drunk people with. A guitar I can hose-off or throw away after bludgeoning drunks with it. A battery powered rig that doesn't require mains to light up, or a fork-lift to get from the back of my 20 year old POS mini-van to the stage. Unfortunately, I don't like strats 😭 Great playing and demo =)
