This campaign a hidden gem for L4D2. Thanks for great time.

this is the first MOD I installed (naturally as I had made the Tokyo Mod for Tomb Raider). Wow, I was blown away by this one. The Shinjuku/Kabukicho area has been really well simulated. I really want to know how much of an exact copy of the real thing has been done here because it looks very similar to me. Later I'm loving the Kyoto area and temples, in fact I just wanted to play it without the zombies just to enjoy the environment! great work. It's nostalgic and a keeper! :-)

This was brilliant fun to play, it took me and a friend about 4 hours to complete the entire campaign as we were too busy just gawking at the scenery. It's just amazing how much custom work has gone into this map and has really made what I consider to be a map that makes the "no mercy" campaign look like it was made by an idiot. I was just literally blown away by the quality. We went to look for more made by the "0rthopaedicsurgeon" and there weren't any. You must make more, you are talented!!

Hey surgeon, don't know if you're still active in mapping but it's worth a shot to ask. Just wanted to ask your permission on if you would be OK if I were to try to make some updates, fixes, and modifications to this map and release them on the Workshop. Echoing what everyone else has already said but you've created one of the greatest custom campaigns ever made. Hope to hear from you!

This map was 5/5 in the first 3 levels. But the last 2 maps... Didn't feel like I was in Japan anymore and lost its magic. I disliked the last level since is a chore of getting gas tanks from multiple floors in a building. The 4th map was "ok" in a mining town yet same issue, it didn't felt like i was in Japan at all. Would been cooler if you added a level in Tokyo Metro and Yokohama or Osaka or Sapporo cities.

The last two levels are real places in Japan; level 4 has traditional Japanese architecture and furniture, shoji doors etc, so I have to disagree that it doesn't feel like Japan. But I wanted to create a journey of leaving the city and gradually moving into rural/derelict Japan. I agree about the gas tanks though, I built the finale around the level rather than the other way around and in hindsight I would've done something different.
