The Bond Machine I got from an ebay purchase came with the 4 clear plates. Somewhere I found the stitches/yarn they may match. Here is a legend for all 1 is 22-26 st = 4" for baby or light sport 2 is 18-21 st = 4" for DK or sport 3 is 16-18 at = 4" for Regency windsor or worsted 4 is 14-15 st = 4" for chunky green key plates .1 same as old 2 .2 between old 2 and 3 and reverse side is .5 larger .3 is old 3 and reverse is .5 larger .4 is old 4 and reverse .5 larger

Thank you so much for making this video! When I asked people to explain the differences, their answers weren't clear. This video makes it very clear, and now I'm confident that I could use the green plates on my machine, and why I would consider getting them.

Thank you for this learning video. I haven't used my machine in at least 15 years. So I was unaware there are several kinds of key plates. Very Helpful. LM.

Thank you, very informative. I use the original keyplates and didn't even know about the bounce bars. I might try to incorporate them into my next 3D printed keyplate, see how it works - I tend to go fast LOL

Great video, thank you! It is possible to get the double-sided plates anywhere? My daughter wants to make the sweater from the USM pattern book which needs a 2.5

Hi, sorry it has been so long for me to get back to you, you can buy or make a tripper spring that clips onto either two of the holes on the back of the carriage and that will trip the counter. As the video shows, the ultimate sweater machine carriage already has an in built piece of plastic on the bottom of the carriage to trip the counter.

I got a used bond machine with the old key plates, and I got the green key plates from ebay after seeing this. I bet a knowledgeable person could set this up for 3d printing at a place like Shapeways.

Hi. I bought an Incredible Sweater Machine on eBay and it arrived without the keyplates. I got my money back and I keep the machine. Do you know where I can buy those keyplates? I am in Australia.
