Studying concepts while investing short term and long term. It will very educational to me academically and non academically. I suggest taking the path that defines you more.

Haha if he was the real deal how come Buffett’s net-worth is over 40x Munger’s? no to take anything away from his ability to analyze financial data and educate himself. There are some things you can't learn from others, no matter how many books you read on the subject. There are also things that people have "learned" that are simply not true. It's critical to be able to come to your own conclusions based off of the best material, even if that means rejecting what is there.

I am confused about the swiss army knife approach, is the whole premise of it to just handle different problems with different methods? I thought that is obvious and most people do it anyway. For example, if you had a sensitive friend and an angry friend, it would be clear to treat them differently.
@TheSwedishInvestor3 жыл бұрын
Hey Will B, thank you for your comment. I think that the Swiss Army Knife Approach could be used as an idea to strive for more models and tools. To realize that one is never "done" with one's learning experience and to look for tools outside of one's comfort zone/main subject. There's power in learning the most essential stuff across multiple domains. I do agree that the idea is quite simple, but not too many people follow it in practice.
