Their mistake is that they are focusing only on their richness and showing how different they are. The reason why bling empire was successful was because it showed their day to day interactions which showed that even though they are rich, they have similar day to day fights and ego issues like the everyone else.

exactly. there were other shows like shah's of sunset and the kardashians which basically shows their lives as a train wreck (well depending on one's interpretation but for me, absolutely). however this show seems to be focused on showing off their so called "wealth". so many things wrong with this show on so many levels but i am sure most people would agree that this is not the right show for the moment.

As interior designer, i feel like something missing in the interior of her house/?. Especially the living room, the space that sould’ve be the point of interest of the whole design. Because the way living room usually is the FIRST view that user’s guest see after foyer, i kinda didn’t get the feel of THE RICH home owner. Also, those classic interior style as an accent giving me “so-so”, not so classic, yet not so modern either. And i can’t feel any of their vibes 😔

i generally noticed that set designs on most south korean tv shows are pretty horrible even at a billionaire's house. maybe i try to look for set designer job in seoul, lol. it's aways cold and always with bad lighting.i know it cost more money to shoot in darker lighting but it's unfortunate as even with ugly furniture, if you get the lighting correctly, it looks amazing.

@@nuuuutlllll i checked online. 1% of SK apparently is around 230K USD. even by padding it up, it probably could be 300K USD. that is a upper middle class standard for most developed industrial countries. this is not considered RICH by any means but may work for some other countries. regardless, being RICH is irrelevant. i just have issues with the crassness of this show. showing off, being both mentally and artificaly tacky and tackless with bad taste just sets wrong examples for people in my own personal opinion.

The place hannam is the most expensive like, it also has three stages , and the starting price is 3mil , bts first lived in hannam and it wasn't that expensive one. So it's beside the han river which is reason it's so expensive view . Most expensive ones like 15 mil or something are presidents of companies, actors , actresses. In that part commoners aren't allowed it's like the people who don't even need a last name. Like gdragon has a very expensive penthouse . And the place is the most prestigious place to be address, it's called dollar road , dollar street straight up . And no one can enter in hannam easily and I'm not even talking about the popular part but in regular part also unless you are like really rich .

Ultra rich people in South Korea don’t really expose themselves this way. That’s not their culture at all. This is a show about some rich SK lady and non-Korean rich people with desperation for public attention. Just like, Bling whatever shows and multi- million dollar property shows on Netflix. Cliche, but, we all know money doesn’t always come with class. It doesn’t bother me how they live with their own money. I appreciate the pure entertainment form of show they put for me.
