Looks great. One question though: it can't do "catch up" to the current setting when starting to turn a knob, right? It just sends out CVs and instantly changes the current value?

1st question: Right, as soon as you move a pot it sends the value corresponding it's current position. The Controller offers a little workaround: as long as you hold down the lighted button, the controller does NOT send para-changes. If you know your synth you can put a pot into desired position before starting to send para changes. 2nd: 'CVs' for Control Voltages? This would make many eurorack-freaks happy :-) No, it sends NRPN-Midi-Data.

It is good that there is a proper editor for this device, as it's main limitation was editing. The software editor was just not up to par, from what I hear. For this very reason, it is highly underrated. Additionally, it would be cool to have the power pass through this to the tetra as it would consume two adapters.

How is the tetras display screen able to show the knob changes from the theta? What do I have to do so it shows up? Also in combo mode can you do the same thing?

It seems you gotta go into the tetras global midi parameters and set it to The Non-Registered Parameter Number (NRPN). No display updates in Combo mode unfortunately.

Sure, otherwize this thing would not make that much sense :-) Incoming midi is merged with the para-change-commands and alltogether sent to the tetra

@@stereoping if I buy one of these units for example: the Qfeld Midi Controller for Waldorf Blofeld, can I download the data sysex to change that to Thet4 to control my Tetr4 and if yes can I buy the face plate for it separately?

@@UberSynth yes, the hardware is the same for all editions and can run all firmwares. The faceplates are available separately in my shop. I also offer free PDFs for self printout if you just want to give it a try.
