Which Headlamp is Better？Olight Array 2S or Perun 2 mini

I've been using the perun 1 mini at work for years now. Absolutely amazing bullet proof performance and reliability

I adjust the brighness while wearing headlamps quite often. I tend to use them for technical work; working on cars, soldering electronics, home repairs etc. Sometimes I need a lot of light to see inside an engine bay, PC case etc, but then need to switch to a less intense light for closer work without being blinded by glare. If you're using a headlamp to walk around at night, then I agree that there's not much of a need to keep changing modes.

I’ve worked in commercial electrical two decades now and same scenario but also never had to changed brightness in the middle of any job, even in the most metallic of ducts or areas lol

I agree some of these light have waaaay to many functions can get a little frustrating from time to time. One of my favs is the i5R EOS low and high... Hahaha "what if I wear my hat sideways"

The i5R is a great EDC light. I like simplicity.

I watched the whole video and I was gonna spend the extra money for the longer run times and cool features THEN you mentioned it being clipped onto the bill of my hat and I immediately changed my mind. Great video, I’m ordering one now.

If I had to choose, I would go with the Perun mini. Currently I’m using the THRUNITE TH30, very similar style, and it has a top strap. Thanks for the video Tim, and Happy New Year my friend.

The array defeats the purpose of having an Olight like the Perun. A cord running around your head to a separate battery pack, that doesn't use Olight's nifty charging system... Why? And you can't use the light apart from the strap or battery pack? The Perun is just better, in my opinion.

They are both great. Personally I like the Perun 2 better just because of size.

“Why would you lose it?” 😂 Uhhh…the same reason anyone loses anything. I like hearing other’s opinions on these kinda things, but you’re comparing apples to oranges here. One is a flashlight that has the ability to be a headlamp. The other is a headlamp. Kk da like comparing a car to a motorcycle. Both automobiles, but two different ways of use.
