11. Don't play hard to get, we will very often just take no as a no. Edit: It's two years on and I understand now. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT. Some guys won't take no for an answer, some guys will, some girls will play hard to get some girls won't. But as a general rule to Men and Women, don't play mind games and don't assume the other person is.

@ShadowSamurott Actually crying is just chemistry inside your body. And if you cry too easy it's just a sign you have extremely low Testosterone. Now of course sometimes crying does happen with normal Testosterone. But it's only a result of extreme amount of stress on the body caused by an extreme circumstance such as death. And in such a extreme circumstance crying is used as a mechanism to relieve the stress on the body.

Something that i feel is missing here, is that we guys love to be complimented. Its often shocking to women how little in the way of compliments guys actually get, and making a man feel good about himself is a great way to endear him to you, or at least get on his good side. And unless he is some kind of Adonis, he will remember the compliment for a surprising amount of time! So don't worry about it being creepy as it often can be when a guy compliments a girl, it's so unusual I guarantee he isn't sick of it. So at worst, you spread some positivity, and that can't really be that bad. Also, some of us do overanalyze stuff haha
@FemaleDove6 жыл бұрын
Daniel Lugosi nicely put. I think men deserve more compliments. The reason they get few is often because of the feeling women get from learning that we're the underdogs in society. It is like complimenting the popular girl on her looks and skills. People forget to do that because they think she's allready getting enough and must be strong. So women forget that men might have insecurities too. Glad you mentioned that. ☺
@LushiaKyobi6 жыл бұрын

As a guy, I can confirm everything here up until you saying guys liking girly things. No, masculine men very rarely care much about the quality of things like their shampoo. A many grabs the nearest shampoo that smells good, as long as it still cleans and removes oils. Perhaps extremely effeminate men will go for the more expensive female shampoos that are marketed as being extra gentle on the hair, and moisturizing and smoothing the skin - but guys (in the overwhelming majority), could not care any less. As far as candles... who in the world ever thought that having candles was girly. Maybe that is a regional thing, but I have never once come across a situation where it seemed like men thought other men buying candles were effeminate.... But for mannies and peddies - yeah, your guy is pretty beta if he cares anywhere near enough about his nails to do that. You legitimately have an effeminate guy there. I won't judge him negatively, but that is not something the majority of guys care about, and it has nothing to do with being embarrassed about it. Most guys just do not care what other people think of their looks (with the exception of pretty girls, who aren't going to find a man with did-nails to be more attractive), which is part of the reason why they don't care about doing themselves up to look better like women do. No, normal guys are not going to dig through your beauty products and try them. For that matter, most guys (and people), think it is rude to rummage through other people's things. I have used my girlfriends things twice. Once when I ran out of shampoo. And once when I had a weird rogue pimple before a job interview; it wasn't large or nasty, but it was a deep red - and I put some skin colored whatever on it to make it less angry red. So it is born out of necessity. The point about chick flicks - that definitely is more often to be true - that some guys actually like watching them with their girlfriends. But more often than not, it is painful to watch. Literally the only reason I powered through them is because it made my girlfriend happy. She realized I was not a fan, so she kept it to a minimum. It is the little things, but I can assure you, I have never been anything more than bored out of my mind and cringing when watching chick flicks. As for the things you nailed: Yes, men HATE it when you constantly bring up your foibles. Trust me, if a guy doesn't like something about you, he either won't get with you or will make it known that he isn't a fan of something. We don't play games. We HATE games. And I personally consider the constant complaining of some girls about their body features to be a form of vanity, fishing for compliments. A few complaints won't drive a guy nuts, but constant self flagellation is the most unattractive thing a woman can do. I have broken up with a girl because of her insecurities. I loved her in every way, but she would not stop complaining about her being a little too thick, or her nipples were too large, ad nauseum. And it was the same set of complaints that I had already done everything to assuage. Eventually, you just are bring me down and making me miserable when you do it. Also, don't look through my phone without asking. I find that immature and you will lose a lot of respect from me if you do it. I have nothing to hide. If you ask, I will be happy to let you assuage your concerns. If you do it without my permission, you have taken a massive step towards me dumping you. Two takeaways from my wall of text. 1) Be confident in yourself. Insulting your own appearance will make guys find you much less attractive. Guaranteed. 2) Don't play little games with guys, particularly when it comes to you being upset about something. It drives men nuts in the worst way possible. Please just be honest and direct - it will make you a million times sexier to a guy.

I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and science shows that women can bond very well with each other. Generally, women are even more social than men are. After something bad happens, a woman quickly rushes to talk to all of her female friends to get support, whereas a man can isolate himself and grief alone. Women tend to be more emotional, more caring, more empathic, more compassionate, more affectionate, more loyal, more nurturing, more sympathetic, more sensitive, more kind hearted, more peaceful, more calmer, more gentle, more expressive, more understanding, and more outward than men are, and thus bond more with other women in a special way that they can’t with men. Men, on the other hand, are not that emotional, and thus can’t bond with other men in a special way. Women are more comfortable being around with other women than they are with men. They have a type of bond that usually men with women won’t really have, or with men and men. Most women like to do affectionate things with their female friends like cuddling with them, while most men would never do affectionate things with their male friends (especially not cuddling with them). Men are usually much lonelier than women are. Men don't often talk about their personal problems with their male friends like how women do with their female friends. Females produce a lot more oxytocin than males do. And that's a reason why women tend to hug a lot more and be a lot more physically affectionate than men do. Women are very unique creatures, and women feel a lot safer in general with other women than they do with men if either is alone with each other, and it is easier for women to trust other women more than it is to trust a man. Women are very sociable with each other, so if something goes wrong, they like to speak about it to each other. This is a way to develop trust among women. Women often relate their problems with other women, which makes them feel more connected in a way. Most daughters have a very strong bond with their mother, while they don’t have one with their father, and most sons don’t have that strong of a bond with neither their mother nor their father. Most females have a very strong bond with their sisters, while they don’t have one with their brothers, and most males don’t have that strong of a bond with neither their sisters nor their brothers. The bond that two females have with each other is the strongest bond of them all, and that's one of the reasons why sayings like “girls always have to stick together” exist. The friendship of males and females can hardly be as good as a female to a female relationship from a woman’s point of view. How can a man and woman have a special strong type of bond with each other if women have a special strong type of bond with each other while men don’t have one with each other? Also, males and females are both mentally and physically different from each other, and that would effect the bonding between them.

1. Never cry in front of a woman. They say they don't care, until they see it. 2. I've never been tempted to look around a bathroom to try face cream or womens products. Men do this? 3. You like rom coms? Just watch Love, Actually and you've seen them all. 4. If a woman looked in my phone without permission, all that tells me is that for the rest of our lives together she isn't going to respect my privacy. NEXT! 5. Its hard for us not to notice that women hold the power in dating when you are on the receiving end of that power. I've never felt more powerless in my life than when a woman laughs & rejects me, and I can't even throw a drink in her face

It's not actually about having someone just sit there and listen - it's about having another person empathize with your situation, just like some of the respondents to your comment did right here (quote : "amen to that, my man"). The funniest thing is that this whole video could be summarized with the one simple tip most guys get from women when it comes to dating: "just be yourself" A lot of women need to realize that all those stupid games and faking this and that isn't going to lead to any type of happy relationship if you weren't honest to begin with. I mean, why should your partner fall in love with anything/anyone else than who you really are? Don't try to fake anything. Just. Be. Yourself. Took me quite a while to find someone to whom this really applies, but now, I couldn't be any happier... Granted, it's still a bit early as I'm writing this, but it looks a thousand times more promising than any of my other dates... Hell, 2 days ago someone actually even paid for a few shots for us because he loved how well we fitted each other. Still kinda unbelievable now that I think about it.... Anyways, I'm getting off track and starting to ramble again, sorry 'bout that

Interesting how everyone talks about society forcing men to hold in their feelings. Anytime I’m upset about something, lets say a breakup for example. if I let it out and tell people, it just continually gets worse until I start to become depressed about it and that can last up to several months. If I tell myself to shrug it off, I struggle for a day or two internally, but forget about it after that and am able to quickly analyze what went wrong and fix it and get back into the game. All I’m saying, is that, for me, sharing my strong emotions is unhealthy.

If I didn't give you ANY hint like a smile, a deeper or frequent look or similar actions, I don't want you to say hello, simple as that. Me just wearing something, NOT a hint, I simply got dressed the way I like. Me just sitting there, yeah I want to drink something, listen to music, things you would also just do without any other agenda. Me dancing, not a hint, I just like to dance and yes I also dance like that at home when noone is watching, I just enjoy moving my body. Many rolled eyes, ignoring etc (even though I find many of these actions by women to be a bit too disrespectful) could be prevented if the guys just acted when hints are given. We often act pissed because you are probably the 10th guy to do this and it's simply tiring. Just imagine you just wanna have a nice evening with your bros, and one woman after the other, that you are not attracted to and didn't start any interaction with stares you down, says hello and acts loudly pissed when you don't show interest, how would you feel? It doesn't even need 10 women, I have seen guys being totally paniced after just ONE "ugly" woman approached them.

This video is such bull$hit, you can't generalize like this and I know a lot of people that are the opposite of what you said if you really want to know more about someone try getting to know them personally instead of listening to someone else generalize millions of people into 1 category everybody is different so using this as advice can completely ruin your chances with someone if they are different from this video which a lot of people are
@iceameenaqueenofice6307 жыл бұрын
Is it really necessary to call it bull shit though? And yeah getting to know someone is all well and fine... But I see it as more of a majoroty rule. Society has nasically shaped some of these things which make it true. And its SCIENTIFICALLY proven that men are hardwired different then women. And most of the things they say are true. So no not really "Bullshit". More like fact with a few bias points.
@nataliaramirez4586 жыл бұрын
I dont agree this how it really is ,and social media shapes everything and some of the point they were saying is just the science behind men and women so...

The thing about chick flicks is true. I'm a 19 yr old gym freak, loves sports wear and manly clothes, take no shit from anyone, conservative as hell kinda guy, I love my metal when I pump my iron, drive a truck, etc. But even I really love romantic movies. PS: it's easy to say on the internet where your anonymous. I would never admit to anyone that I like romantic movies. And I have carried a bad habit my entire life of not sharing my feelings towards anyone. But maybe one day I'll meet that one girl that will blow me away and that I can talk to. PSS: for any ladies who read this, if you can get your man to be comfortable with you and is glad to have you around, he will eventually open up to you. And if he does begin to open up and tell you what he keeps inside, he has a special place his heart for you.😊

I have another one. . . Guys always seem like they don't care about things and that when you are upset, they joke around to be mean, but it's just their way of trying to lighten the mood and make you laugh. . . It's just a simple one I know. . .
@speed88196 жыл бұрын

Yeah, on average us guys don't like showing emotions until they overwhelm us and we try to use humor to lighten the mood. Rarely works but by the same token a lot of women lash out in response to those situations too. Not enough talking and too much reacting on both sides.

Tell me something, you people don't actually believe the useless dribble that your videos consist of, do you? With a good looking composition of the video, decent graphics, photography and a good sounding narrator, you could pretty much say any sort of ridiculous crap that you want to, and low and behold, people will assume it's valid and credible.... KZbin informative videos have got to be the most ridiculous crap that people will ever believe without seriously questioning its validity.... If it looks good, people will believe it without question! The intelligence of most people these days is beyond depressing..... Ughhh I especially dislike how all these videos seem to start a battle between men & women in the world, we hetero guys don't have anything against females & I know that women aren't targeting men as evil, misogynists. Why are these videos always pitting men & ladies against each other? It's not a war or a competition, come on folks! We all just want some respect and equality among the sexes. Just chalk this up & sign this message as a guy who loves and respects ladies and wants a little normalicy in life! 😁

As much as this video made good points - it also has a go at men whenever it suits its point. - I don't do what I do to impress a woman. I didn't spend 4 years studying for it to impress a woman either. - After I got burned in a bad 2017, I didn't spend 2018 rebuilding myself to impress a woman. - I dress smartly because I have self respect. Yes, I will dress smartly for a date. But I also dress smartly for myself. Not for the sole purpose of impressing a woman. Ladies - you deserve respect. You deserve acknowledgement. You deserve the freedom and the power to do whatever you choose with your own life. If you so choose to have a man in your life, you deserve a man who will treat you like a Queen at every possible opportunity. Just saying - men can build their lives around themselves too.

4:51 I think guys underestimate listening as a form of action. Listening is the start of fixing the problem because, if someone has a lot of static in their head that needs to be released, none of your suggestions are going to stick. Once we get the static out, then we can get on the right path to fixing the issue at hand. Either that, or we have to talk out the problem because we need to build an understanding of it ourselves so we have an easier reference guide for how to fix something like it in the future.

The losers and the players will wander away.

Soda Pop Trust me, I only have sex with people I'm 100% serious with. They approach me like they're actually interested in me and I fall for it. I am a guy, and my entire life I've been terrified of asking someone out. I actually tend to stay away from my crushes as much as possible because I don't want to show them any of my true feelings. So just because a guy doesn't pursue you definitely doesn't mean he isn't interested, and can often be the opposite.
@megpi72 Жыл бұрын
I’m not sure of your age but you sound younger according to what you just said. I am a 51 year old woman who men waited until the last couple of years to tell me that they were interested. Time goes by fast and I would have been interested in one or two of the ones who were interested and didn’t tell me this over 20 years ago. You shouldn’t be afraid to ask someone out. You have nothing to lose. If they say no then don’t make it out to be a big deal. Maybe you will feel uncomfortable for a short period of time if they say no or are uninterested but in a short time you won’t care and it will be just a distant memory.

I don't even understand why people make videos discussing men and woman as different things now... I mean... At the end of the day, we're all the same species. And stereotyping a female/male is like stereotyping your mum. Your dad. Your brothers and sisters. Here are the facts: Men, scientifically have stronger upper-bodies. Woman, are more emotional. And the fact that some people discriminate woman for being emotional... They can't HELP IT. You can't call them crybabies when that is the way their genes and bodies work. Imagine if you had terrible cramps for days until you finally bled out of your vagina. And the fact that some people discriminate men for wanting woman with boobs and all that stuff. Same thing, they can't help it. It is in their genes to look for attractive woman. However, I do not think men should be dating just for sex. That is wrong. I hardly meet guys like this, but I know there are some that exist. People also stereotype woman for being weak. Yes, men are normally stronger due to their natural forms, but some males lack that completely and woman can be way stronger then a certain person. I just don't think stereotypes should exist at all. And people hating feminists, you shouldn't be hating the people who want equality, but the people who *call* themselves feminists but are actually just wanting woman higher. They aren't feminists. Lets call 'em phonists. Phonies-Feminists. 😄 Another thing is that I have been thinking it over, and I feel like men shouldn't discriminate woman for taking ages to get ready or worrying about clothes, hair, makeup, etc. In the end it is to impress *you* boys. They don't want to be known ugly, this is because woman normally over-think stuff. Another thing in our genes that we can't help. I am a woman and honestly wish I could stop fussing over all that stuff, but I honestly can't. We really shouldn't be treating others different because they aren't the same gender... Love you all no matter if you are a male or female! Bless you all! 😘💕

Most of this seems pretty accurate, but I personally do NOT like romance movies or chick flicks. Not because society says I shouldn't, I legitimately just don't like them. I don't mind if a movie contains elements of this though and I absolutely LOVE to snuggle!

Agreed, most romance movies are so damn unrealistic they turn my stomach. They also cause many of the unrealistic expectations both men and women have about relationships.
@hammads90456 жыл бұрын
Spot on, honestly. When you're in a relationship and have spoken with your partner, all of this becomes increasingly obvious. Being open with emotions is true, but it can get complicated like when guys are trying to figure how to keep the girl from "critiquing" them poorly.
