He wanted to be out among people, and I wanted to relax at home once the day was ending. Physical attraction is what brought us together, and being fixed up by a common friend. I'm an introvert who is shy, so, I am actually fine without anybody other than friends and family around me. Many people my age still want to be with a partner, but I am just over it. But hopefully anyone who wants a compatible partner can find the right person for them. Just make sure they are good to you and will not turn out to be a jerk. If a person is lonely, they might overlook some bad traits in a person so they aren't alone anymore. I did that several years ago. It didn't last long. You live and learn.

He stared at me...it definitely got my attention. He was not subtle. It was enough for us to introduce ourselves and he bought me a drink. The next time I saw him at the same restaurant, I was ascending the stairs to use the restroom. I figured he would be watching my figure in my dress from the bottom of the staircase, which I am sure he was, but he wasn't staring this time. It was a gaze. I looked back and his focus never wavered. I reached the top of the stairs and looked again. That gaze. It was dreamy. I have never experienced that before. I didn't feel like a piece of meat. A connection had been established in that moment. We were together for less than a week. Sadly, he passed away. I was never able to see what we could have been, but I will NEVER forget that man. Rest in paradise.

I'm freaking out because I have a freaking horrible crush on my Muay Thai teacher. I have been single for 2 years already and haven't been too interested in men, let alone sex. Seven years gap isn't that much AT ALL, especially the older the pair are. 23 and 30 are not old ages either. I'm pretty much clueless jaja He has stayed to sleep at my house (in my bedroom), given me massages (on my bed), cooked with me lunch, we have had breakfast. All those times I couldn't tell if he was pursuing something more or if it was just normal friendly activities... although there are some things I personally wouldn't do with a guy I just considered my friend. But we don't talk about it. Since a couple of days ago, he has stopped doing these things with me, and I don't know if it is because he is just busy all of the sudden or because he thinks I'm not interested and don't want to put his hopes up anymore. This only really applies somewhat if its the men staring eachother down. Every time a woman has looked at me in the eyes for a long time, they were interested in me or wanted to kiss. Just because I’m interested in someone doesn’t mean that I’m going to make eye contact. I’ve been interested and not made eye contact. Yes, I looked in his direction often and I wanted him to look my way. I tried to start up conversations with him. But, I would look away quickly… because I was shy. That has NOTHING to do with my intentions or my attraction to him!!! That part of this video is absolute bull dung. Not to mention, men tend to think that if I have eye contact with them, that I am interested. When that is not what I am feeling at all. I hold eye contact with many people. Why do men feel this way? The eye contact thing is true, but not all the time. There are definitely people (like me) who will purposely avoid eye contact because they're shy or anxious. I saw a video that said there are sometimes people who go out of their way to make it seem like they're not attracted to someone. But doing so often makes it even more obvious that you like them

You missed something out; whenever I see a man that I find attractive, my eyes feel really funny. I didn’t know why this was, until I saw a documentary once, which pointed out that when someone looks at someone they find desirable (for some reason, this happens more in women’s eyes than men’s apparently) their pupils dilate - which means simply, what they are seeing looks good to them! Now I’ve discovered that every time I see a guy I'm attracted to, I now know why my eyes feel funny/strange; my pupils are dilating. This Documentary said one of the easiest ways a man can tell if a woman fancies him, is looking to see if her pupils are dilated - it happens EVERY time - you can’t control it! Unlike men; when they like women it RARELY happens apparently. (I guess other things might dilate instead! - LOL)
