What a great point re: bonding with the nannies & then feeling abandoned if they by choice or not. No amount of fame & fortune can protect a child from those kinds of feelings & confusion. She seems like an attentive parent, at least as much as her lifestyle will allow. I know what can & can't bring you happiness in this world but it's hard to swallow this life that we see because it's so diametrically opposite from the lives of most working mothers who are struggling with $$ & all that results from a lack of it. Every single day & decision presents a hurdle... single parenting, shelter that's safe, working, child care, health ins., school supplies, food (at home & at school), clothing, utilities, bonding with your children... I reality this small list will continue to grow into the an endless web. They could not ever truly understood what goes on in most parent's/children's lives. It's not their fault it's just not possible.

this is what we all do as a Full-time Nanny in London, and of course no jewlery because you can hurt the baby or a toddler can pull on it, if you have the $$$ for a Nanny usually one Nanny for 1 child, so you can give them all of your attention and do only age appropiate activities and most of the wealthy are really nice to their Nannies, nice benefits etc

I agree with the nanny thing. My little brother and I went to daycare for a long time until we started staying at our Nanny and Papa house after school ( my dad's parents) and when they stared getting sick and we were getting older, we stayed home more often after school. Well, I did mostly during my middle school days because I'm two year's older than my brother and I got out of school earlier, he always was doing any activities after school ( mainly marching band) and my dad at the time worked close to home so if he it was OK, I would walk over there and hang out then we go home after and that was that. Nowadays, my mom babysits my nephew some days and picks my cousin oldest son from school along with my nephew and they all hang out at her house until my cousin brings her two kids home from a different. Although that may change because she just had her fourth baby just recently soo... but I know that my mom's schedule with my nephew won't change now because he's two but who knows. P.s. on certain day's of the week my mom takes care of my nephew and on other days his other grandmother will take care of him. And sometimes my Aunt will take care of my cousins, especially now that thier mom and dad have a newborn to take care of. They say it takes a village to raise a child ( or four) and it's just all my brother and I knew growing up. So yeah, it sounds hectic and it can be sometimes but thankfully everyone do get day's off. P.s. having a big family really helps!

You do what you need to do for the life you live and for what you want and can comfortably afford to do. To each his own and in her situation it is understandable why she does what she do and I don't think it is unreasonable. I am an average person and want privacy most times so to have the whole world looking at you she has to do what she need to to keep herself and family safe.
