Sorc tank is about to be really really solid, the increase to the shield is equal to casting barrier. Plus you get minor resolve, minor protection with a 20 second timer, and can beef up block mitigation to cap for 5 seconds whenever you know you are about to take a lot of damage. They also have super strong heals with either clanfear or twilight, I personally went clanfear especially for trials which heals for 18.5k+ per cast.

@@richardwhite3521 I have now used sorc tank doing HMs in all the dlc dungeons and have used it as a main tank in VDSR, VRG, VSS. Works extremely well.

I use Nazarey with Turning Tide and Yolonahkin, or Nazarey with Sul-Xan with Powerful Assault

So I watched a couple of your videos. Very informative. Thank you. I'm ex tank from EverQuest and WoW . I played ESO back in the day just got back into it. I have a Nord Dragonknight. I'm using this as my starter build. Thanks for your info. I might be in touch. Can I use this build solo to level 50 and then go from there? Meaning hit 50 and then start doing dungeons after 50? Or should I start right off the way off the rip? Could you please just make a starter simple guide to get peeps rolling in the right direction.

Go to dungeons to level bro you get alkt of xp for the first daily dungeon you do...how else do you level to 50...just questing? That takes forever... I personally go to alikr dessert grind golem until rank 10 then grind dungeons from rank 10-50...

I just started my own nord DK tank and I highly recommended grinding dungeons as soon as you’re able to enter them. You will level up very quickly this way compared to slowly picking through overland content. In between grinding dungeons, collect sky shards instead of mashing quests. Leave the exploring to a DD toon 👍🏻 Good luck! 😊 Edit: You’re probably leveled up already, but I’ll keep this here in case someone else sees it.

I don't put attributes in, just minimum suggested stats as it will vary for each Class, Race and depend on Food used

I use Doorn monster set to reduce damage for my group. Seems to work well. Also, you could use tide just on one bar, right? After triggering, you could switch bar.

yes, but you wanna body TT and put something else backbar depending on you group, you don't want to be reliant on one bar to proc major vuln from TT. for example, you backbar yolna or powerful assault.... in case of yolna minor courage lasts for 15s... in these 15s you should be on your backbar taunting again for the debufs (not the taunt itself) from forst clench anyway to keep minor courage up Or if you run with 3dd and no healer you would backbar olorime for major courage, similar principles. spauler/magma for trash, archdruid on bosses if you run with premades and have the time to switch your setups. No clue how you got to 82% block mitigation without slotting bulwark. I have turning tide and yolo jewelry and ice staff, no masters s&b yet but I’m at 62%. Going to farm olo soon.

I do have Bulwark slotted however that is Resistances. Block Mitigation and Resistances aren't the same thing

Why is Spaulder the only worthy Mythic.. have you tried Bloodlords Embrace? it extremley boosts your Mag Recovery

because it doesnt benefit your group, only you.... simple as that ;) but in the end its up to you, play however you want whatever you need ;)

It doesnt buff your group (which is the end goal of a good tank) + it serves the same purpose as engine guardian, but worst. Tank club has a video on this exact point if im not mistaken - Bloodlords x Engine guardian. Tldr: engine guardian is always better

You can Tank with every Class but Dragonknight is generally the best to go with at first

I just don't really understand what I'm missing that is giving you such high resistances without buffing up. My base resistances when I'm just standing around are 23k mag and 21k physical

When you look at resistances you should always look at the buffed amount and then you have many ways to buff them like I mentioned in the video

Glad to have you here! I wouldn't use Oakensoul for Tanking, I only use it when I am Hybrid Damage Tanking. It's a nice mythic for newer players to get into cranking out damage more easily.

Not really, Ice Staff is arguably more important for Tanking than any other weapon.

The problem with dungeon tanking and harmony is that pug synergies are TRASH. You can't count on them at all.
