I bought pair of the 1st LA GEAR REGULATOR they looked great but 1st time wearing them in my school gym the tread on the bottom came away I was GUTTED at least I got refund only cause didn't get to wear them outside so the tread wasn't dirty. Kept the Key ring type of tags that came attached to trainers back then which looked great on ur keys all trainers came with them like Reebok Blacktop even Timberland & Kickers shoe/trainers had them. Don't see them nowadays shame.

Those blacktops are fire. I've got the retros from 04 and they're the best quality shoes I ever owned. I just bought a 30 year old ds pair of la gear pumps for the misses.
