I just tried it on Cisco 8841 HCS phone and did work fine so I think you don’t have to have call manager on prem to use this add-on. Thanks for sharing such great tool and thanks Anthony for making this for the community

@Anthony, what all phones did you test this with? Any input on which work / don't work specifically?

@@TheTechCatalyst I don't recall actually. I've been using the APIs on the phones for over 10 years, and on a lot of different customer environments, so, suffice it to say it's been quiet a few different ones, albeit, pretty mainstream ones. Cisco did not remain consistent in which phones worked the same, or even supported the features at all, so it's a huge undertaking to enumerate all the ways in which the phones are different. I chose the 80/20 rule, in that, I think the app will work on 80% of the phones in the field, and then 20% will get no love. I'd be happy to look at it with you, using any phone you want it to work on. Just let me know.

Using CUCM 9.5 the image is blank, it works to control the phone but can not see the screen :( Any ideas?

Join audio should let you join a properly configured MoH audio stream.

Not 100% certain yet. You would have to dig into the API documentation (provided in video description) a bit and understand what API calls the Add-On is making (open source). So far 88xx seems good to go though in my testing.

Yes totally. Some low hanging fruit are phones without screens like the 6901 wont work, or phones which are completely different (cisco OEMs them, instead of manufactures them) like the 7931 conference phone. You can also look at the documentation Cisco publishes to see the huge number of caveats and limitations per phone model. If there was something specific you were looking to have added or make work, let me know, and I can look at it in real-time with you over a Webex.

This worked the first time or two, now I can't get the screen image to load? Tried both Chrom and Firefox, tried clearing history, any other troubleshooting ideas?
