Fun fact: Loewe, working with John Logie Baird, produced the worlds first fully electronic TV. I had the pleasure a few years ago to tour the factory in Kronach, Germany. I adore the Loewe brand! Those looking for stats won't be impressed, but those looking for an easy to use, one remote for everything, stylish TV can't do better. They also have the options for multiple different stands! Desktop, multiple floor stands (including motorised rotation), a floor to ceiling pole. Custom sound bars are also provided in a range to choose from that all control from the standard remote... You can make the TV that looks and sounds best in your home. They are VERY expensive compared to the big brands, but lets not forget this is handmade in Europe! It's best to think of this as a luxury fashion statement in your room, it's guaranteed to turn heads.

Great review and looks like a TV with fantastic build quality, but for me I can not see how I could justify the extra cost on top of an LG or Samsung which in all other departments are just as good if not better.

Excellent review Paul, I really love the idea of the hard drive, the build quality does seem really good but I must say for the price point I kinda exoected similar specs to an LG or Samsung etc at the same price, my G1 seems to have better specs and its the same size but half the price. Definitely heading over to Peter Tyson to have aook at his other gear though, I hope you are all well pal 👍🏻

Yes very nice design with a lovely remote, but at a price, worth it, not sure Paul as it will be an LG panel anyway. I suggest Arcam av amps with B&W speakers as we are doing premium

Thanks for the review. With regard to the inbuilt hard drive, does the TV incorporate twin tuners? If not, then the inbuilt recording facility is severely compromised. Is there no 'Info' button on the remote control to indicate details of the input signal?

Excellent review Paul. Sure this is a very impressive tv with top build quality undoubtedly. What is turning me off: 1) that is 60Hz and not 120Hz (i see no logic in this for a high-end tv). 2) The led indicator protruding out, better off this. 3) The plastic insert to enable the audio when not using a sound bar. 4) The brand label position, i also like symmetry - it should be bottom centre. 5) The price, too expensive for a 55" 60Hz. There are better options out there. What i 'd like to see you reviewing is a short throw laser projector (if possible). Maybe this is gonna replace the tvs in the near future. Some they have a built in tv tuner -LG. Android os, 4K, 150" image e.t.c. The use of a special ALR panel (Ambient Light Rejecting) improves the image quality even in well lighted rooms, the picture is impressive and big, bigger than one from a tv. Many top brands released short throw laser projectors, like LG, Hisense, Xiaomi, Samsung, Epson, e.t.c.

Most tv need a sound bar at the very least to be honest..I’ve full blown av and 5.2.4 denon x4700 and Kef speakers and would say the sound is as important as the picture, had a win on the footie and lg g2 77 inch..but I find atmos very hit and miss..and atmos through the dedicated tv speakers is waste of time..

It's an alright TV but I don't like the logos and light at the bottom standing out, very distracting, Sony bravias have the led built into the bezels I'm not sure why this brand couldn't do the same? Also is this tv 120hrtz for PS5 and it's disappointing that this is not a android tv

I just leave it in game mode all the time because if you get a like a 4 ~ 6GB 4K file, like the Chinese Channel, some good space stuff, and the TV be fixing on it, so ugly, no reason at all. Just turn the stuff up to 53%, the colr was stuck at 60%, even though I added 8 to the white amplifier, because my OLED goes dark, it was calibrated by the update to 60% color because 4K at YcBr 444 shaves off the upper and lower 16 colors, so when your watching the war movie, you notice that too deep objects, like a cherrywood boat, are physically varnished, which is impossible. So, it washes out the mid-tones, but you'd get that same image on a 2,000$ buck camera as well, it just draws the eye into a focal point, since nobody has any gynormous lens.

@@TheTechGiantKZbin I have CX and a C3. Both way much better than my Sony. For gaming LG is also way much better. With Sony you get one eARC and only one HDMI 2.1 if you plug soundbar or receiver. Very disappointing. The Sony looks really dark and no good in a place where you have lots of light. Well my CX is still better and have more features and 4 HDMI 2.1 ports. :D
