I got this tv a couple days ago. its a welcome upgrade from the older models much better sounds way brighter I bought a Samsung mini led tv and the Oled C4 looks just as bright to.

Great review of the C4 Paul. I got to see the C4 next to the C3 at my local Best Buy and to be honest I saw no difference between the two which made me feel pretty good about grabbing my C3. Cant wait to see more reviews from you on the C4.

Ive heard the C4 is a nice little improvement over the C3 this year. Ive had many LG oleds in the past and cant say enough good things about them - esp the durability and firmware update support.

Does this TV and the C3 have the Paramount+ app because I haven’t seen it in any of your videos? My LG B9 has this app but it is quite clunky and slow, likely due to the age of the TV (from 2019) so I’d expect to also be on the newer models as well. Thanks.

My LG 65 CX sadly started to bug after 3 years and 3 months!! looks like the motherboard decide sometimes to cut off power supply which is kind of a nightmare if you want to watch TV when you want. Luckily I had a warranty extension. Now I can't buy this C4 because of the power supply! why the hell are they doing that? impossible to pass this cable inside the wall and I can't even use the old cable neither . TV is definitely NOT supposed to be laid flat on the ground!! I just set my C4 up, what a hassle putting the stand on with the tv in an upright position! Great TV....but it's replacing my Panasonic 65 top of the line plasma. After 10 years that 1080p tv is stil epic to this day.

I like to research a lot before spending on a new TV. I'm struggling to find good arguments to chose an 8K Samsung QLED qn800D over a cheaper Samsung OLED 4k. Have you compared a QLED 8k with an OLED 4k side by side? Will the upscaling, brightness and absence of burn-in in an 8K QLED be enough arguments over a 4K OLED? Are there more good reasons to chose one over the other?

Thank goodness i still have my LG C1, i absolutely hate the fact that new OLED's since the C1 have dropped the headphone jack from them, there's absolutely no good reason for this, they want their TV's to be multi funtional and yet drop the most basic output on a TV. Wired headphone sound is so much better than bluetooth

if you have 📺 oled, you can wait for the g5 to come out. If you buy a g4 in October, it will also be a good choice. I bought a 77g2 in December 2022 and I really like it, even after I got a 65a95l in the bedroom.

Sir your lg menu is more on the blue side , mine looks more white and grainy Even i have observed the same when i watch hdr movies those are full of some over brighten white dots not sure if its film grain or something else never observed while watching the sdr content

get a G3 it’s a step up C4 has same A9 processor but no MLA for brightness like the G3 but if u don’t wall mount it, you will hv to fork out more money for a stand as the G3 55 and 65 inch only comes with wall mount

It depends on the screen size, the 42 and 48" have upgraded panels which according to LG are brighter. the only other difference is a minor uprade to the SOC If you are happy with your C3 i would stick with it until the C5 is released, the C4 upgrades are not worth paying the current prices, LG are offering a 20% discount on all models until the 16th of june.but prices will drop once the demand for the C4 goes down.

@@gabrooji9925 No problem, buying any new tech as soon as it is available is never a wise move. The 2024 models from most brands only have minor improvements. Sony has renamed it's new range to try and confuse us, but looking at the specs soon reveals that they are not that different from the 2023 range.

Question! I just bought the LG C4 65 inch. I found it att a lower price at a website (about 800 dollars cheaper). But it has a different model number than the other websites that were selling the same TV at a higher pricepoint. The model nummer at the other stores that were selling the C4 has OLED65C44LA while the one i bought was OLED65C41LA. Does anyone know if there are any differences and if so, what are they? Thanks.

Its the number where they sell the tv mainly. In your case 41,44 South-East-Europe. Germany for example is 43,47,48,49. Some models have two Tuners for Satellite but otherwise identical.

Minor upgrades over the C3 are not enought to tempt me back to risking another 48" one. They still have a fixed mains cable that is way too short, and that frustraing magic remote that i can't stand. When will LG listen to it's customers ?

The C4 is twice the price of the C3 and you are basically paying for a small improvement to the brightness levels otherwise the C3 and C4 are near identical in terms of design, features and even menus. The C4 still doesn't come anywhere close to the brightness levels of the flagship G model and one review I read mentioned that this year's C4 has an off-axis green tint.

@@DoctorHades This is true regarding the tints, the C3 as proved on this channel also suffers from off axis tints. You would expect the improved panels from the G3 to have made their way down to the C4 but this has not been the case. LG are losing ground to other brands and making no effort to fit a detachable mains cable and improved remote, will they ever learn, i doubt it.

To be honest what difference does the back pattern or design make to the tv .ie the marble effect? Absolutely none. It won’t be seen once it is on the wall or stand,unless you intend to face the back to you instead of the screen

I came to hear comments about, see what mount, and watch the tv to be mounted on the wall.. You totally skipped that process. I have this TV, only complaint I have is the remote suks, where some buttons are too close together and you will constantly hit the WRONG button, esp the down volume and Down channel buttons.. Ok, now for the Tank Tops..no offence intended, but I'm going to suggest Holding your shoulders up and back alittle more as I think you are forming bad posture looking like you are about to lift a barbell off a bench or hug a bear all the time when you are really just holding instructions or a remote, trying show us, and be helpful with your reviews, but keep doing what makes you happy!
