I got the Apex 7 clicky myself, I really need them tactile switches. But I also got the Razer pbt keycap upgrade set because those are much, much better than the original keycaps, and I have to say, this keyboard is godly now.

Thanks to you man i bought SteelSeries APEX PRO and i am in LOVE with this keyboard, this will be probably the last keyboard i buy, also i researched a bit more about Omni buttons and as far as endurance goes, company's have tested with over 3 billion key strokes and still running like champion!!! i mean this is WOW ground breaking , for me this is the best keyboard out there and will probably never change it.

I have the Huntsman TE and it’s honestly my favorite keyboard I’ve owned so far. The switches were really hard to get used to and for the first week or so I made a lot of typing mistakes but once you get used to it typing on the Huntsman TE is so smooth

I have the Huntsman TE and it is my favorite keyboard right now. I use it daily because I like typing on it and it wasn’t actually as loud as I was expecting which is a good thing and it sounds heavenly in real life. When you hear it in a video it sounds very loud and kind of bad but when you actually hear it in real life it’s awesome. Well that’s my opinion about it I’m not sure about other people.

Great comparo bud! I just bought a Steel Series TKL and it is freaking awesome... near perfect! The caps on the TKL can be replaced but there's not much you can do for the detachable cable capability. Fortunately I find neither to be a major turn off. I just wish it was less expensive, but I suppose it is the price we pay for real quality.

The brown switch that i got gives the perfect clack i wanted to the keys and rgb paradise and customization was great as well. Not to mention the small screens customization as well. Definitely a good performance in games as well. Id say give it a buy if you can

I have the Huntsman TE and I am very satisfied , RGB is quite low during the day but at night it really shows and is clean , I love everything about the keyboard ,Clean yet still gamer like , Fast , satisfying keycap sounds (quite loud though). I love this keyboard.

I need a tenkey, especially with some of the games I play, and the fact that the full version of the Apex doesn't have the adjustable on the extra keys is a deal killer, where the Huntsman elite with red has the switches consistently.

The keys that dont use the omnipoint switches use the steelseries reds which are still great switches. If your looking for a keyboard for gaming the apex pro is no doubt the winner here. Youd be suprised by just how smooth and fast the omnipoints feel compared to your standard reds. Its hard to go back.

if you don't mind the sound of the TE, go with the TE over the ducky

If you need the arrow, f and del keys, go for TE. You can always make it a little bit quieter, but as he already said not much, but if you don't need those keys you can also go for the ducky if you need the space otherwise not. Happy birthday soon🥳

Very disappointed with customer support and how they handled my case. Spend $140 for keyboard and lasted only 18 months, and that's because of the latest software upgrade from RAZER. I still have 3 months of warranty left, but they won't honor it since i bought it from Amazon third party. It shouldn't matter who I purchase it from as long as its new. Very unfair and I Am replacing all my RAZER gear with Logitech. I will NEVER recommend RAZER to my gaming community. Imagine if you purchased a $3K laptop from them and they treat you like this> I have a case number if anyone wants to read several days of emails.

yeah they use cherry mx stems and have a standard bottom row, so any mx style keycaps will fit.

GerstenJoch yeah those fit Mx stems and use a standard bottom row. I just don’t like the look of the hyper Xs. I prefer brightly colored backlit keycap. matrixkeyboards.com/collections/keycaps/products/matrix-cotton-candy-pbt-doubleshot-keycaps-1 I have these. Also it may show a 60% in the picture but it gives you the keys for a full size.

Great thing about that board is standard layout. So any double shot keycaps are going to feel 100 times better then your current ones. Im sure you can't go wrong on the brand, just get the ones that are a good price

Thing about both keyboards and keyboards in general is what’s your use cause if you want to game the Drevo is really good but for everyday use since the phantom has arrow keys it helps plus it’s not swappble so it’s up to you

honestly i was going to purchase the apex pro, and i actually got really close, but after a lot of research i end up with huntsman TE. The features in apex pro seem very gimmicky: 1. The usb passthrough will probably never be used, if youre gonna move files chances are youre just gonna connect it directly to your pc instead. 2. The screen sure seems really cool, but again i honestly dont see myself using that very often, is it cool to have? sure, but is it gonna be useful/just be used overall? probably not. 3. the whole adjusting the actuation is such a specific feature that i myself will probably not use either, and i feel like it's gonna depend heavily to lots of people. it's gonna be either you use it and utilize it a lot, or youre just not gonna use it at all. 4. Not to mention the fact that it's using ABS keycaps. The only reason i would get the apex pro is the omnipoint switches which sound (and feel smooth according to lots of people), but honestly considering how only the main part of the keyboard has that switch and not the entire keyboard seems like a corner skip to me, especially considering the price.

I personally have tried both as gaming keyboards, and I do totally agree with you that the apex pro stands out a bit more due to the difference in the switches. Only downside that I didn't like about the apex pro was the fact that the Steelseries decided to take out the print screen and two other buttons in order to add that little display panel. I do use print screen quite a lot and personally thought that display panel was quite unnecessary since every function of that display panel can be done with the Steelseries app as well. I would love to see a Apex PRO TKL without that display screen + low profile keyboard. If they release something like that, that would be the keyboard that I'd keep forever.

I have tried Steelseries Apex Pro TKL 2023 edition which still trades the Print Screen, Pause, and Scroll Lock keys for the display screen and I have to say it's a huge turn off for me because I screenshot a lot on my computer. So I went back to the Huntsman TE. Waste of money however worth a shot as I really do like the Omnipoint switches.

I have the razer huntsman mini and its amazing, the linear red v2 switches are so much better than the original, its quiet, feels smooth, great for gaming, and despite the very low actuation distance and actuation force its pretty good to type on as well. I rate it a 10/10 for sure, feels great, sounds great, is really quick for gaming, good rgb (I have HK gaming doubleshot pbt pudding keycaps so the RGB looks even better, but it still looked pretty good stock) and as controversial as it may be, I love synapse. It's an overall amazing keyboard.

back from 2022 did you saw razer on theyr site change red switch from 1.00 mm response time ( 5:08) to 1.2 ? now i ask , it was 1.00 from beggining and now the 2022 fabrics are 1.2 or , it was 1.2 from beggining and we all got lyed ? and from 40 g to 45 g why , im getting lyed
