My origins 60 was disconnecting once in a while. I tried updating the firmware and it ended up bricking my keyboard. Any pc I would plug it into it would just endlessly disconnect and reconnect. Its a known issue with HyperX keyboards and is extremely disappointing because the keyboard feels great.

This is the best 60% I've come across. I returned Corsair k65 60% ans got this and very happy I did so. The weight and build quality is just so much nicer, maybe it's that the Corsair is too much plastix

HyperX alloy origins series are almost perfect, except the space bar's stabilizer, it really sucks when comes to sound and feel on the space bar.

DK61 is half the price and has nicer looking keycaps + you could buy some super lube and get a really nice keyboard. But I can get that people don't want to do that and it's fine, get what you want.

Literally my previous keycap set (some custom ISO layout set) has the Z and X keys worn down so much, thay feel smoother than any ABS keycap I have ever used. That was about a year of playing.

I have a question. I have read on amazon, that the bottom aluminium plate is just glued on the "pcb" with adhesive or doublesided tape. Is it true, because if it is it doesn't make much sence for me and can you take it off easiely because if you can it is worthless for me.

I have Hades and my guess is that Venus has better stabs, a lot of switch options and a more premium build. Also it seems like key remapping is way more flexible on Venus, so hyperx has no chances against venus.

TBH, this keyboard is just fine, but no way near good or great. (the typing sound test, sound pretty bad though) At slightly higher end, $130-150, there are countless better alternative (ducky, varmillo etc), can even touch the lower end custom build. I think, at $100 range, keychron k6, and Akko3068 are the kings. k6 - with dual wired/wireless mode, aluminium reinforced case, hot swappable 3068 - simple, very solid, very well built 65% and below $100

I rather a regular ducky than this, its just super solid. Stabs and everything, no software needed as well. Ducky is taking my money every time.
