One negative about the Razer PBT would be that the Function keys have media control info printed on them (for Razer keyboards) and this functionality would not match other keyboards. I think Corsair function keys are clean so a better fit !

Corsair should add the extra bottom row keys for the older models like k70's. Razer has them covered in their sets for similar price, Corsair would lose that market for their older models. There's a lot more k70's and older models out there, for which people who are looking for replacements would more likely look for the same brand. Stupid cost saving on Corsairs part. I have a k70 SE saw the colour options, and was looking forward to buying it. Now I'm looking at Razer's caps because they have keys for the bottom row I need.

The Corsair website has PBT keycaps for 29.99 and 49.99, but they don't say what the difference is in the keycaps. They look exactly the same, but the price is very different. What gives? I ordered the 29.99 white ones.

The 50$ ones are for the older corsair keyboards. Like the early k60, k65, k68, k70, and k95. As they have a custom bottom row. The 30$ one is for the newer corsair models and other keyboards as they are now using the standard layout

I bought PBT DOUBLE-SHOT PRO Keycap Mod Kit - Onyx Black (NA) and is really cheap, wrong plastic, too hard plastic, the 2 kits i received with R MA, is all broken in white cross under caps after fews minutes and next days after used keycaps or not 60% thru 90% of all caps broken in same place around the cross horizontally near Cherry MX pin cross. The change design, less white plastic and more hard plastic, not flexible plastic like my original Keyboard i still haved my keycap after 12 years, LOL, and now just good for 1 or fews days! Cheap hard plastic now! and payed 60$ plus TX and shipping!

Coming from Ducky keycaps they're a little disappointing to me. The shine through goes through the keys quite a bit instead of only through the icons. Which makes it not fit combined with other keycaps and not very clean looking on their own. Nitpicking but yeah, is my impression that made me not use them after purchase.

I just bought HK gaming caps for my first custom board these look really good but, the font is really gamery and my board doesn’t have rgb on all the normal keys so it’d look weird with shine through legends but no RGB. If you don’t care about the font, they look awesome.

Hi, thanks for the great video and comparison to the Razer keycaps. That's exactly what I was looking for. Can you please tell me one thing. Does the backlight shine more through the Corsair PBTs? I got the Razer PBTs and the font on them is very thin, so the light is quite dimmed. I also have Corsair Strafe with stock ABS keycaps and they just SHINE. I was wondering will I get the same result with their new PBTs?

I always wanted custom corsair key caps for my corsair k95 keyboard but definitely held off because they only had a select few and were over priced at $50+. I'm really glad they finally made them and priced perfectly against razor's.

And sadly, these set don't fit (at least for the bottom row) on all the Corsair keyboard. I bought a set of white keys for my K60 and all my bottom row won't fit because the space bar, Windows key, fonction and ctrl are proprietary

@@Road370 Ya once I did more research, I found that out too. Corsair was really trying to be shady by making their previous keyboards have a unique bottom row. I'm sure they were planning on banking off their own keycaps, but never followed through with the plan as they only released a white and black set which they already had from their already released keyboards. The custom keyboard market is growing rapidly and they did a disservice by trying to isolate their customers.

i recently bought a K70 with MX red switches, i first tried the K100 and K95 XT but these has a terrible coilwhine / high pitching sound coming from the board. (above the arrow keys when putting your ear next to the keyboard) This K70 has a way less audible pitching sound from the board so i will stick with this one. Will these keycaps fit my K70? Then i am going to pick the Onyx Black ones and also apply the O rings

can you compare these to the matrix after market keycaps? the underside of the keycaps look identical to matrix caps and the keycaps used by matrix are oem so it wouldn't be a surprise to see them being used by other companies now, but if the only difference is the packaging and the font then I'd happily choose these over matrix for the price

I needed to search my wardrobe to find the biggest hat I have to take off for Corsair. They even make iso-de sets of these, no f* body does that. You need to be lucky if they give you iso english, but for somebody other than gmk to offer specific iso caps and not ask 30 bucks for the few extra keys. Hats off Corsair, I am definitely gonna get a set of these.
