Keep in mind that Elon has inside information from Trump. While tariffs are typically bad for the economy in the long run, Elon knows the game that Trump is playing and has calculated costs after tariffs go into effect. Not only will this create jobs in the U.S. like others have said, it helps with national security and future supply chain disruptions.

I agree. It’s not the cuts that sent the markets down, it’s the projected lack of cuts in 2025. This is a short term drop. Powell and the Fed are playing a game of chicken, knowing that the market is future looking. Once they get new data in 2025, they will adjust appropriately. This is a good time to invest and/or do a Roth conversion.

The game is like the game monopoly where to keep the game going the “banker” has to keep dishing out the paper money. But we know that as the game continues the winners are revealed and the number of losers increases. In the end everybody loses except for one . Is suppose the winner will be Musk. But you are correct, the game must continue. The fact that the DEBT also rises as we see today must be of concern. The thing is there is no stopping the game as the printing presses go into overdrive.

Future models. A minivan would be great. Or a model with the form factor similar to the coming soon Rivian R2. Note IMO there won't be a sub $30,000 model in 2025. And quite frankly, Americans buy more Model Ys, than Model 3s, so something smaller than the Model 3 probably would not sell that well. Even if it is $5000 less than the Model 3. TAM would be small in the US.
