Hi Philip I'm really not one to comment on social media but you really deserve a shoutout! My GMAT is in under 10 days and I haven't been able to dedicate the time to study as much as I hoped with a very hectic job! I was panicking about how far behind I am but your videos give me a reassuring sense of calmness and confidence. Thanks much!

I've been watching your videos for a while now and have recently subscribed! I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart... these videos that you make are a rare gem on youtube and I am so so glad I found them!! Continue uploading, you are helping so many out there (including obviously me). If you have any information about the new GRE (1hr 58min long), I would love to see what you have to say about it. A million thank you's from me and surely from thousands of learning and smart students!

@ 13:39 example , maybe this is overthinking but I thought to use pythagorean theorem to find find line AC which will correspond with angel ABC then form an algebraic equation based on the values of the side we are given .i.e 90 degrees corresponds with 16 therefore ac can be found by forming an equation that "matches " the two . Totally different angles but they add up to 180 ?

Hi.... how do we determine which side is the height in the last example (17: 50)?
@TheTestedTutor3 жыл бұрын
Any perpendicular side actually
@colleenmadden114 жыл бұрын
For the "bring it all together question", I still do not understand how you know which side is the hypotenuse. If when looking at figures on the GRE you should know things may not be drawn to scale, how do you know whether the diameter with center O is either the hypotenuse or larger side?
@colleenmadden114 жыл бұрын
is the angle opposite to the diameter with the center on it always the 90 degree angle?
@TheTestedTutor3 жыл бұрын
Diameter must be longest side
@lonen3rd3 жыл бұрын
@@colleenmadden11 probably too late but could help someone. The angle inscribed in a semi-circle is always a right angle. So in this case, angle ACB is by default 90°.
