I've been out there three times in the last couple of years on motorcycle trips. That red brick column with the Texas seal is brand new! Never seen it before bits gorgeous!

I’ll have to disagree with the state historian. Before the Alamo, a Texan should first visit Goliad and Gonzales. Casual tourists should see the Alamo and San Jac first.
