To the people confused about the October 26 thing, just know that if your A account (main account) is linked to your EA and you make a B account under the same EA ID after October 26, you will still be able to merge the stuff from the A account to the B account BUT you don't keep anything you gained from the B account from its time of creation after October 26.

for some people confused if you want to merge your xbox account to pc simply make sure that your xbox account is linked to your current ea id that also has your current pc linked to that ea id aswell that being via steam or origin. also you do not need to have them under the same email they just have to be on the same ea id account

Same shit. If you used a diff email to play it automatically makes an EA account with that one and you can't merge them. If you unlink it you lose your data. 3 Years of waiting for nothing.

EA blows a fat load here. I've been using an account on Steam for about a month now (new to PC) when I realized it wasn't under the same EA account after they announced incoming cross progression update, I made a new account under the same EA account. But now since it was made after the 26th, I won't ever live to see my accounts merged. So I'm losing out on a 5000+ hour account on PS that has about $1000 or more worth of items and purchases. EA thinks this is a good idea, the same way they didn't think everyone would abuse retaining their shield upon respawn in rank.

I would say it most likely will! I think it would really only matter your email if you were trying to merge steam and EA accounts, etc. For example I have a pc account and a xbox account but my axbox acocount is linked to my EA account so technically they're under the same "EA ID", although they have different emails it makes the most sense to merge the two linked accounts, yk?

Yeah It's a good question. Someone asked the same during the Q&A part of the event and the devs didn't answer. I'm going to assume as it's taking the stats from the account that has the highest account level, I assume it's going to take whatever pack progression you had on that account, but this is 1 of the ones that the devs didn't say anything about, not yet anyway.

It's done on the EA ID, as in what platforms you have connected to your EA account. Normally that means the same email, but In some cases I believe you can have a different email. Seems to be more common for PC players rather than console players.

They said the leaderboards will remain platform specific. So no, if let's say you're top 100 xbox that will remain specific to xbox, it won't carry to PC.

Just wanting to clarify what does it mean by secondary account? I've been wanting to use my xbox account on pc but I've never played apex on pc on the same apex account before. Would this mean I would be making a new secondary account and not be able to use my xbox account?

GUY HE SAID ACC MADE AFTER OCT 26 ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO MERGE THIS IS MIS INFOMATION. it only means that ANY PROGRESS MADE ON ANY ACC AFTER OCT 26 WILL NOT MERGE. so u can make a new steam acc link to ur EA acc thats link to xbox and wait to merge to get ur xbox stuff on pc BUT any loot box or coins u get on the new steam acc will not merge

What does it mean "secondary" account Ive had apex on steam for months however i linked my steam to another Ea that had my ps5 progress. That was on the 27th so will I stil be able to merge?

Either on Pc work. For your Xbox it's as long as it's connected to the same EA account as your PC (Steam or EA App) you're good
