You know, as crazy as the "Fridge magnet" theory sounded, it's not actually completely stupid if you think about it

Perhaps a look of amusement was scripted, but that was a genuine laugh beyond the script.

I don't think it was... Atkinson has always talked about it in interviews that he isn't fond of improvising on set even though his co-stars & co-directors say that he usually improvises quite well...

Let me give a good advice about graffiti. Graffiti is defacing city Art is different. If you actually want to express yourself you make a stencil or a pattern design. You get approval from the city that improves quality of life visually as well. And then you get a section of wall you put up your design and pattern it fill it in by color by number same kind of thing by doing your shading. Then you put a couple of layers of coat on. And then not only have you created something that people appreciate. But something you can also be proud of. Just like a good idea is let the kids make the Sunday comics how their favorite comic books with the chuck on the different steps of the crosswalk and then just do a layer of coat of non-toxic. And then they just replace them when it starts to get where away. Let the kids put a different comic strip on there. Now you're creating healthy cultural and traditions in this area. That create long-term nostalgia too and improves quality of life.

Yes, if it's done with the prior permission of the owner of the wall, then yes it can be art. If it's done without that permission then it's defacing. Sadly now we see certain so called "artworks" done without permission being "preserved" by having a big sheet of perspex stuck over them, whilst genuine murals are left unprotected for yobs to scribble over :-(

This is one of his good shows, if you think about it now it's TV culture and history. So when you create something don't think about the now. Think about how it will be viewed 30 years from now because at that point it will be a part of history and culture of your region. Because you created it and time has passed
