Funny you picked out the chest compression scene as the doctor is doing it COMPLETELY WRONG! From this angle, you'd never get effective compressions. They rarely made this mistake in ER.

Real chest compressions will crack ribs when done long enough. Plus this harms the other actor your doing chest compressions with and that's a big no no in shows. A new law or a regulation from then to now might be why they can't do full compressions today for the show.

@@donyconjux1 It's details like this that instantly make me hate a medical show, no matter the buzz. Of course doing compressions on a human not in need of intervention will do more harm than good. But: these are actors. It's not real. Usually, they put actors on a special bed or trolley with a recesses for the to lie in and a fake chest for the other actor to compress. As for doing it correctly on screen: it's vital. Many lives have been saved by people who "learned" how to do CPR by copying what they saw on the TV. The cracking ribs are not the problem in this scene.

A bit of a nit pick because I'm Filipino but the dialogue in Tagalog between the two Filipino nurses needs some work. It's a literal translation of the English script which loses the transliteration of meaning from the Tagalog side when spoken. It needn't be a one for one word translation since Tagalog can be contracted to express the same thing in fewer words than English. Fixing this issue would definitely add to the authenticity of the show. Again, its a nit pick though but I couldn't hurt to mention it because I'm loving the show so far!
