Surprisingly, I saw both of those plot twists coming too. Vanellope is on the exterior of the game itself, so that one was a give away that she's supposed to be part of the game plus the entire interior of the castle is pink, or at least the throne room is anyway. When Turbo was first mentioned in the movie, I compared his behavior to King Candy's behavior and theorized that they were the same person, which became even more obvious to me when he kept trying to do everything he could to avoid letting Vanellope cross that finish line and reset the game.

I actually prefer surprise villains over the super obvious ones. Did you know that Elsa was originally going to be the villain of Frozen before Let it Go was written for her voice actress Idina Menzel? That song changed the plot of the story line at the last minute and they decided to make Hans the villain instead.

I think that you need to teach your daughter a thing or two about genes. Explain to her that if Repunzel kept her hair long, then mother gothel would keep Repunzel prisoner for longer. And that since Repunzel's REAL PARENTS had brown hair, Repunzel would've had it for the whole movie if it wasn't for tye flower. But if she's younger than 8, let the genes lesson wait until highschool when she'll be sleeping in science class.

True, but no one expected Eugene to be the one to cut her hair. In the original story, Rapunzel's "mother" cuts her hair and banishes her to a swamp, where the blind prince happens to come across her path and has his eyesight restored with magical tears.

Did you know that when Let it Go was written for Elsa's voice actress Idina Menzel the plot line of the story got changed because the creators of Frozen loved the song so much that they just had to put it in the movie? Let it Go is the reason that the story's plot line got changed at the last minute.

@@fairy6818 there's actually more logic to Hans being the plot twist villain if you think about his back story of being the youngest out of 13 princes and compare that to history. Throughout history, the youngest prince almost always becomes a secret villain just to usurpe the throne from their older brother(s) or their father if the older brother(s) are already dead because of sickness, war, or assassins. If they didn't do that, they did exactly what Hans did in Frozen, minus the magic side of things that is.

I've never seen Return of Mary Poppins or Wreck-It Ralph 2; Ralph Breaks the Internet, so I'm probably going to forget those spoilers by the time I'm actually able to see them. Minus those 2 movies, am I the only one who wasn't surprised by any of these plot twists the first time I saw these movies? The plot twists weren't even spoiled for me, so I had no idea that they were even going to happen. However, as I was watching these movies, I had a strange feeling that something unexpected was going to happen. When I saw that Eugene Fitzherbert was changing because he was falling in love with Rapunzel, I knew that he'd do something selfless to protect her. When watching Frozen opening weekend in theaters back in 2013, I had a feeling that Prince Hans of the Southern Isles was the true villain of the film despite there being zero noticeable indicators that he's secretly evil. I figured that out on my own when he said that he's the youngest out of 13 princes in his kingdom. Well, that and I considered the fact that throughout history, the younger brother would almost always do something sinister to become king either by murdering their older brother for the throne or by marrying into another kingdom and murdering their wife sometime after having a child with her. Another hidden factor is like what Prince Hans of the Southern Isles did with Princess Anna of Arendell, which would be to make a desperate girl fall head over heals with him and ask her to marry him even though they just met and weren't betrothed to each other. By lulling an entire kingdom into a false sense of security, no one would have suspected his true intentions when his wife suddenly died of something other than child birth or sickness.

I saw the Lotso evil coming a mile away. My family is awesome at accusing characters of being evil, then realising we are correct! In Sherlock Gnomes, I said after the first few minutes of it, "Watson turns evil." Was not wrong! The bigger Sleeping Beauty twist was in the show Maleficent. I saw that one first, so I wasn't that shocked. "Hans is evil." It's the sideburns. That's how we know 99.9999999999% of the time. Dad called it, I called it, all my family called it. Don't trust sideburns.
