I think it's also a case of timing, it's super fresh in everyone's minds and I'm sure reacting doesn't always allow for you to enjoy the tracks for yourself. Not as able to 'discover' or hold out at the music store for the tracks like when we were younger. There's also the expectations we have of Em that unfortunately we're just kind of predisposed to. Which for me he still meets. Listening in certain situations like a walk, the gym, at home cooking, at a party etc totally changes the dynamic. You could say I'm a rational Stan lol.
