I think it's also a case of timing, it's super fresh in everyone's minds and I'm sure reacting doesn't always allow for you to enjoy the tracks for yourself. Not as able to 'discover' or hold out at the music store for the tracks like when we were younger. There's also the expectations we have of Em that unfortunately we're just kind of predisposed to. Which for me he still meets. Listening in certain situations like a walk, the gym, at home cooking, at a party etc totally changes the dynamic. You could say I'm a rational Stan lol. Five-O is not a reference to Police cars that are Mustang 5.0's, that is purely coincidental and a stretch to say he's referencing specific car models of cops. It's a direct reference to Hawaii Five-O where the term originated. They don't call handguns a hammer, their is a piece of the gun called the hammer. When you cock the gun it pulls back the hammer, when you pull the trigger it releases the hammer and that is what hits the back of the bullet where the primer is that fires the round. They call handguns handguns or by the mm round it fires...like a 9mm is often referred to as a 9mm instead of whatever model 9mm it is. A .308 Rifle is often just referred to as a .308 instead of Remington .308 or Smith and Wesson .308 etc. In rap (you should know this by how big a fan of hip hop you are) that any gun regardless of being handgun, automatic, semi, burst, or single fire is often referred to as Steel or again by the mm round it fires. Perfect example is when Em talks about the .45 which is probably a double or triple entendre with the fact that his radio station is called Shade 45. Thor is both the son of a god and a god. In Norse mythology there wasn't really Demi-Gods like in Greek Mythology. An interesting side note to both mythos is that in Norse Mythology the Gods didn't sleep around with each other or humans anywhere near as often as Greek ones did. Probably why Demi-Gods aren't really a thing in Norse Mythology.
