Welcome to *"EXO-planet"* , actually they are one of the biggest band in Kpop, if all the other groups are talented, EXO are monsters, they got every thing specially vocals (all the members are vocally amazing, the vocalist can Rapp and the main rapper sing crazy, they have the best vicalist and the best dancers in kpop), EXO's *Chen* has 4 octave vocal range can hit 5 female key, they sing all music styles, but officially they are kings of RnB, also as you see all of them are superb dancer, PS: Korean Government Officially Awarded EXO With The Title *“The Nation’s Pick”* , they are the most awarded band in Kpop and 4th in the world (till last year - even when they boycotted all awards shows since 2017 - this year they may have lost this position) kings of vocals, not well know in western country lack of promotion. The MV and the song has two meaning: 1. Obssesion lyrics talks about a fights between us and our ego, telling him to go away. It's represented as EXO in black (represent us as in normal state) fighting X-EXO (the color ones, that represents our nightmares and egos). 2. EXO HAS A STORYLINE, this MV shows that the evil and the enemy of EXO, THE RED FORCE created the X-EXO (Evil parts of EXO, the ones in color outfits) to combate the original ones, the difference between them is that EXO protects the world while X-EXO wants to eliminate it and steal EXO real powers, thats why at the end we can see the earth burning at the half.

What you saw in the "Obsession" MV was that EXO's doppelgangers were actually their alter ego clones and they were using their superpowers, such as Chanyeol with his fire power, Sehun uses his wind power to deflect the arrows, Baekhyun uses his power of light as a saber in the fencing battle, and Suho (the one with red hair) controls water in the room with all the pictures of water, etc. to fight their other selves. You see the planet on fire in the end of the MV because it's supposed to show how the world is coming to an end as EXO (the good guys in all black) and X-EXO (the evil ones in the colorful outfits with crazy hair and makeup) battle for control, etc. (Each of the members are playing 2 different characters -- there are only 6 people in this MV.) X-EXO has been created by the evil Red Force and EXO and X-EXO are fighting each other. EXO are trying to prevent X-EXO from taking over and corrupting humanity and X-EXO are trying to stop EXO from finding the Tree of Life and putting the two halves back together and restoring peace, etc. To truly understand EXO you need to understand that EXO debuted in 2012. "Mama" is EXO's debut song and MV and it is how EXO was introduced to the world and it explains the group's concept -- and since then, everything SM does branches off from that storyline. From day one, EXO's concept is that they are aliens from planet Exo and they came to Earth with superpowers to protect the Tree of Life from the Red Forces. Each of the members has a superpower that is unique to them and almost every MV will have at least one, if not all of them, using their powers. Now you also need to know that In the beginning there was 12 members and they were split up into 2 groups EXO-K and EXO-M. EXO-K sang and performed their songs in Korean and EXO-M sang and performed those same songs in Mandarin Chinese. EXO-K had 6 Korean members and EXO-M had 4 Chinese members and 2 Korean members. So to really understand their full origin story you have to watch both the K and the M version of "Mama", because the EXO-K version focuses on the K members and their powers and the EXO-M version focuses on the M members and their powers. However, since then, 3 of the 4 Chinese members have left the group (short answer to focus on their solo work back in China) but there is still one Chinese member left, Lay. (Any performances or MVs you watch that took place prior to May 2014 you will see all 12 members.) However, now -- because they no longer have enough Chinese members -- they no longer do separate promotions, but they still produce almost all of their MVs and main songs in both Korean and Mandarin they just now promote all as one big group EXO with 9 members. However, in the "Obsession" MV there are only 6 members -- Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, Kai and Sehun -- because 2 of the members -- D.O. and Xiumin -- are on hiatus during this comeback as they serve in the military; and due to the political issues between the Korean and Chinese government, Lay -- their Chinese member -- was unable to participate in activities with the group. So each new MV or project from EXO tells another part of the story, and over the years we fans have started to create a timeline and idea of what we think each part of the story is telling us. However, the introduction of "Obsession's" part of the story really threw all of our theories for a loop and it has made us question everything we have ever thought was happening in EXO's storyline. The MV starts out with the red and blue light because it's supposed to represent how EXO are currently battling with X-EXO and the Red Force for control. In EXO's MVs when you see red light or anything that is red, this represents the Red Force, and when you see blue light or anything that is blue, this is thought to represent EXO. Therefore, when you see red and blue in one scene or purple -- red and blue mixed together make purple -- this is showing how the line between the two sides is being blurred and they are fighting each other, etc. Since "Obsession" some think maybe EXO has been trapped somewhere from the very beginning and it has been X-EXO that we have been following all along. But I think it's still even more complex than that. I think at times we have been watching EXO and at times we have been watching X-EXO -- with the release of "Obsession" we have only just discovering that the story hasn't necessarily been showing EXO the whole time. With the new information provided to us through "Obsession," it also makes me question how Lay fits within the X-EXO/EXO storyline. Maybe he is one of the members who has been able to break free or avoid the Red Forces' control. In Lay's solo MV for "Sheep," the Allen Walker relift version, we see everything burning outside as if an apocalypse is happening. Maybe "Sheep" is showing us the planet burning from Lay's viewpoint, like we see the world burning at the end of the "Obsession" MV. Also, I believe that the storyline in "Obsession" is connected to SuperM's debut "Jopping" MV storyline. If you pay attention to what Baekhyun and Kai were wearing in "Obsession," those outfits are very similar to the black outfits that Baekhyun and Kai are wearing in the "Jopping" MV. Kai is even wearing the same backpack parachute in both MVs. Which seems to be SM Entertainment's way of making sure we see the connection between those MVs. So it is thought that, as part of SuperM's storyline, EXO has gathered the best of the best of SM's groups -- EXO, Taemin/SHINee, NCT/WayV -- to help them battle the Red Force and maybe eventually take down X-EXO. Just like the Marvel Avengers come together as individual superheroes with their own storylines to create the Avengers and to fight evil, it is thought that SuperM is coming together to create the ultimate supergroup to help EXO fight the evil and corruption inflicted on humanity by the Red Force. Unfortunately, to make it even more difficult to understand, each part of the story is not necessarily in chronological order, so we as EXO-L (EXO fans) have to become detectives and analyze every aspect of all of their teasers, MVs, song lyrics, albums, concert VCRs, choreography and even live performances and piece it all together to understand the story behind it all. And not only are EXO's and SuperM's MVs and storylines connected, but pretty much all of SM's groups have storylines and concepts that connect together, which is designed to become part of one giant graphic novel or movie in the SM Culture Universe. To help you pinpoint the powers being used in EXO's MVs and live performances, here is a list of the members and what their special power is. EXO-K 💦 Suho (Kim JunMyeon) is the leader of the group and he is a lead vocalist -- his power is the ability to control water (Fun fact: Suho in Korean means guardian, as in the guardian of EXO. That's why as the leader of EXO, his stage name is Suho.) 💡Baekhyun is a main vocalist and his superpower is the ability to control light 🔥Chanyeol is the main rapper and lead vocalist -- his power is the ability to control fire and his spirit animal is the phoenix. 🌏D.O. Mostly reactor would say oh so this is about an ex who can get over with her partner🙄 but yeah, I see you can interpret lyrics well. Truth be told, in the MV they actually were fighting against their dark side called X-EXO. According to the storyline, their dark side wins. So the fans(EXO-L) have been more curious as to what happens next. But anyways, thank you for the reaction. EXO has been my only group for ten years now and I can't seem to get out of Exo-L (I tried to be in other fandoms but no🙃) and I really do hope you enjoy their songs as much as I do

Thank you for reacting to EXO. If you just read the lyrics, it can come up with different theories. But the actual story is different. Basically Exo is from a planet called Exo-planet. Each member has their own superpower. Exo debuted with 12 members. Now they are 9 members. Exo hadms a storyline of their very own where they actually fight against the evil red force that destroyed exo planet. In this mv, exo is fighting against their clone made by the red force. The lyrics here means the obsession of the red force have towards the actual Exo members. In their every mv, you will see the floating, water, teleportation and other stuff which point to their super powers. Please react to Tempo, love shot, ko ko bop, overdose. Exo are called the king of vocals. All the members are very much talented and they will never dissapoint u. I would really appreciate if u can do a group guide reaction as well.
