I hate super long albums but I was pretty impressed with how good it actually turned out. There are some great moments but there are also a hand full of songs that aren’t necessarily bad but just didn’t quite need to be there. If he narrowed it down to the best 12-15 songs max, it would have been even better. Overall, it’s a really good project.

This will go down as his magnum opus. Give it a few years. To come out with something like this when you are under the microscope all the fucking time. This is him coming on terms with his mother's death that has had him off the hook since her death. The meaning and his healing through god and representation of his struggle to come on terms with it all is sublime. A fantastic masterpiece that will be appreciated more later in time just like all the best albums in history have been.

This is huge cap, the album wasnt bad, but it was clearly unfinished, a lot of instrumentals let a lot to be desired and a lot of songs are carried by features like jay z and the weeknd.

For one he is definitely very knowledgeable when it comes to music he is a musician himself. And the most important if he doesn't like something he is very respectful and moves on so yeah his breakdowns are majority positive. Most people don't want hear anyone trashing their favorite song or artist by anyone. Ernest hasn't figured that one out.

I'm 40 and I fuck with Donda heavy for the themes, content which I can listen to with my toddlers, and overall artistic value.
