Yep, was 36F and 39F the last two nights. Everything was frosty! My inground annuals actually look ok so far, just a little bit of damage here and there.

@@EirlysMcLachlan I feel like the inground stuff hangs on a little better than the potted plants. Petunias especially seem to handle frost for a while before dying off

Thanks for that update on your garden. Indeed, it is helpful to see which plants can survive a cold hit and those that can not. Shalom sis 🕊✨️

Hi, I'm in ohio zone 6b. I've seen your videos on waking your banana. But, you said you cut it down and mulch it to overwinter it. Do you mind sharing the size of the area you mulch, if you use woodchips to mulch, and how high you mulch it. Do you prefer this method over digging it up? Or is this your first time trying this? Thanks

Hi!!! I'll make a video when I mulch them over soon but I'll just tell you incase your ready to mulch yours now. So I plant to cut the foliage down leaving a short stump about 6-12 inches tall. Then with wood chips I'll cover it all up. I'll also spread mulch about 5-6 inches outside of the stem if that makes sense. You can even use the cut leaves to help insulate your trees. Good Luck!!!
