Ever since I first came across your videos during the Spring of this year (2024) I believe I've watched almost all your videos since then, bar two or three. Although I favour a Russian victory, I find the level of scrutiny you apply to both sides of the conflict all along the Front Lines to be both extensive, rational and pretty objective, for all that I favour the people of the Donbass while you favour those of the Ukraine. I wish you well in all that you do and specifically with your studies. If your daily / a few times a week updates are anything to go by, you have a very bright future before you.

Despite your thorough, wonderful analysis it's hard to tell the true status of the war. Imo Ukraine's best strategy with their resources is to preserve men and delay to the maximum extent while giving land when the math doesn't work. If they will inflict 1-1 or 1-2 casualties, give the land more freely and attrit with drones and arty while retreating. Despite the increased rate of captured land, my hopeium is that they are following this strategy. Ideally they need to save enough resources doing this to maximally utilize the highly defensive points where they can introduce wild casualties. And to produce enough high strength units to counter when they see a vulnerability to exploit, or when those nodes are being flanked. It feels like it's moving too fast, Russia has initative for days and is finding the vulnerabilities they need atm. But Ukraine truly has land for days. I am hoping to see a Decisive defensive battle where it's important to give me a sign that this is the case but maybe it's not time yet for that decisive hold. Nothing is important enough right now to hold to the end and the math for delay and retreat is smarter for a long while yet. The war is a long way from ending and a fully occupied country doesn't even mean the end. I know I'm super armchair but that hope is what helps me get by. Russia's currency is inflating, they're running out of reserve currency. Their interest rate is 21% so new investment is very close to impossible. Their production is on a war footing which means no profit from the products and no sustainability. Wages are going up because of govt contracts but tax income is plummeting because their oil industry is shot and people are leaving and going off to war. If the US couldn't sustain their relatively extremely low tempo wars in iraq and Afghanistan forever then Russia on this level of commitment won't last, can't last long enough to take Kiev.
@YThome7Күн бұрын
Your points seemed to be correct. I think the US had no problems sustaining Iraq war, I had some information about it. For Russia it will be much more difficult. I doubt Russians plan to cross Dnieper and they will not even try to capture Kiev, it would mean too much devastation to the city which Russians consider part of their heritage. But I could hardly imagine Russians leaving Odessa to Ukraine. I believe that Russian strategy is to make all Ukrainians suffer through the winter without heat and electricity hoping it would lead to another Maidan collapse of Kiev regime. Whether it is a feasible strategy, I'm not so sure.

interesting analysis. contrary to what you said, according to Kalibrated scott, i heard that russia is in a full time war economy that is helping keep her economy afloat for some reason. im still waiting to see if thats the case or if your case is true
@MyNoodlesAreColdКүн бұрын
@@allenlindsey1175 It's also very hard to maintain offensive momentum in heavy snow and mud. But that's a valid point, it will demoralize and slow logistics. I don't see it as a critical blow to the war. Trains are considered absolutely critical and they're currently running well.

With the collapse of the Soviet Union and the founding of Ukraine, blue and yellow became the official national flag. It flew for the first time over the Ukrainian parliament on September 4, 1991. A few days earlier, on August 24, 1991, Ukraine had declared its independence. So what are the Russians doing in Ukraine?
Күн бұрын
Is this a serious question? Ukraine must accept it’s role as a buffer state, much like North Korea is to China. 🤷♂️🙆♂️💁♂️
@jay64jКүн бұрын
@@paulpanter1092 the bottom line is the US has wanted a proxy war with Russia for decades, it pushed western power ever closer to Russia, it had CIA bases in Ukraine along the border with Russia, it sponsored the 2014 coup, its proxies were killing Russian Ukraine's in Donbas and Odessa. Is that not a threat to Russia? Imagine Mexico allying with China and doing the same. I think Russia was very patient.

last time i checked war doesnt have a set date buds this is not a movie this is real modern war Ukraine is a massive country not only massive but flat and open tarain not to mention both sides have eyes on the sky dam near 24/7 and satellites. As soon as one side gets ready for a big assault very rarely are the enemy ever caught off guard, Russia could go a lot faster iff they wanted to but they would have outrageous KIA just like Ukriane plus russia is fighting a war of attrition something no one through out history has been able to defeat Russia in a war of atrition read a history book. Also look at the 11 year war in Afghanistan America was basically fighting farmers in sandals mopeds ww1/ww2 guns and had complete air superiority there pilots could freely fly around and bomb the shit out of anywhere they wanted to their ground force had the ability to call in close air support with the A-10 that would never be able to happen in this conflict it would be shot out of the sky with ease US never had to worry about AD,Drones,EW,Missels and yet they got sent packing home
@UgandanWarriorofHellКүн бұрын
cant help it due to the proliferation of constant attack and surveillance drones. launching massive armored formations would mean heavy casualties like how the russians sustained during the early stages of the war and the ukrainian counter offensive in 2023. so shut your mouth about it. or you could join the frontline and help to speeden it up? 🤡🐷
