Roman said, "I don't know if she's at the peak of her power", and then Beyonce performs at Coachella proving she can top everything she's ever done... watching this video 3 years later I can say the impact she made with Lemonade is astronomical. Hand's down the best concept piece.

A little background knowledge on the " pray you catch me " performance . The performance actually represented all the black people that died that year from police brutality, she dressed her dancers as a angels to represent each person , the gunshot sound was every time a gun was fired as you can tell by the red light , every time a gun went off. The red light stood for the police " republicans " majority of polices are republican that's why she didn't use blue lights . The man with the hoodie represented Trayvon Martin , as you can tell he's dressed as Trayvon M . That's why she's the queen because she know how to use her craft and voice . 💜

I love how she has used her artistry as a platform of what society's state of mind is especially in the Black community because while she may have her own opinion on it, she's actually letting the work speak for itself.

Wow, this is actually my first time seeing this performance. While I am not a fan of this particular album because its such a sonically experimental new sound for her - I have to pay homage for its artistry because creatively, she definitely put her stamp on it and decided to elevate this album to the popular mainstream. From beginning to end, she gave us something different as she gives us a good amount of catalogue tracks from the album. From political expression in the first scenes, powerful spirituality to personal themes of betrayal love and willpower to move forward with such imaginative visuals all make for a grand live performance. She just oozes with confidences, vulnerability and outright unabandoned usage of the stage in a dizzying array of lights, smokes, dancers, costume props, etc. you name she'll use it. I applaud her. Good review Roman + Paige. That kind of performance takes a lot of energy to do and the perfectionist that she is, she killed it!

Johnny Arellano i have no idea. I literally think about this everyday. (i know i sound insane lol) but she did so much and poured so much into lemonade i just am so curious to see what her next album will be like. Will it be slower and more stripped down, faster and more dance party songs, or more soul stuff. I wonder if her duet with Ed sheeran and collab with Eminem on walk on water is a hint. I seriously just can't wait anymore.

NO NO NO you need to watch Beyonce's 2003 VMA performance when she singlehandedly ended the careers of atleast 30 artists who were slaying but have never been the same. She killed Brandy,Monica,Mya,Chante Moore, Tamia, Avril Lavigne, Pink, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Shakira, Dido, Blu Cantrell, Alicia Keys,Mary J. Blige,Nelly Furtado,Jennifer Lopez,Gwen Stefani, Jewel,Stacie Orrico,Fefe Dobson, and Vanessa Carlton. Hell she even killed off Destiny's Child meaning Kelly and Michelles solo works. All these artists had amazing outputs but they have never been able to deliver to the same caliber since then. And those are facts! That performance was 14 years ago and still better than most of the performances today.
