A great choice in my humble opinion Oisin. To me the silver/champagne dial is the classic. I love the coloured dial options but I could not really pull them off as I tend to wear my watches out and about. When this update was released I pondered the different colours but this version stuck. The sunburst dial combined with the gold hands and applied hour markers just ooze understated class. One that flies under the grid not attracting unwanted attention. Terrific videography on the intro and outro with the focus panning. Very well done!

@@INSANEFAME The dial on my watch looks more light Champagne in most lighting conditions but in others looks silver like the images in the video. This maybe partly due to the lume filled yellow gold hour markers and hands reflecting on the sunburst dial. Hopefully this helps.

@@paulvon2378 Good point! I don’t need the money though. I have a green dial jumbo that I could sell for three to four times what I paid for it…. I also have a blue dial 41mm Royal Oak chrono which are going for close to 100k….Much like 90% of my pieces. I would rather own them than have cash… that just gets gobbled up with inflation,.. unless you want to go gamble on the stock market with the proceeds…. So, really 8 am not sure your “question” is correct. There is nothing like wearing a ss blue dial sky dweller or a black dial daytona. Just two great examples of the watches I own. I would also suggest precious metals… gold is in a bit of a “slump” at the moment. There are some great investment opportunities atm. With no VAT and no CGT on watches and investment gold you reallly can’t go wrong.

Really dig this model. About 8 months a go i went to official Rolex retailer with whom i have some buying history and got my name on a waiting list. The nice lady said that the wait would be something around one year. I said o.k. and left. 5 minutes later my phone rang and it was the same lady calling, telling me she had made a mistake, the wait would be about 3 years :D Well.....I'm still on a list, as it does not obligate me to buying it. We'll see what happens when i get ''THE CALL'', if i ever do. And that OP money went to Grand Seiko's pocket this time. PS. Please make that Air-King video happen, love that piece and would be great to see and hear what you think about it. Keep up the good work.

I’d say: Pros: Rolex crown status. Great on the fly bracelet. Not a scratch magnet like the Datejust/Milgauss etc. due to brushing Legibility. Long power reserve. Accuracy. Antimagnetic. Long service interval. Set and forget if you’re a person who can’t be arsed setting a date. Sleek and slender lines so fits under a cuff. The ‘joyful’ coloured dials are quite versatile jeans or a suit etc. The silver being the most dressy, not sure it’s a casual attire piece. Value retention. Cons: Big shiny Rolex object attracts muggers like flies to shit like no other. That’s a very big dial with such a narrow bezel, if you’re a small wristed guy it’s going to look cartoonishly large. All you get is a three hander looking back at you, no interactivity. As the dial is so large they had to fill the space so the double markers at the cardinals may not to be everyone’s taste. You could get comments such as - ah, if only it was the Tiffany blue from watch heads obsessed with market value. If the prices rocket you then your annual replacement insurance premiums are going north too. Acquisition price - depending on dial hype you’re either going to edit forever or seriously pay through your snout. Where’s the date? For date fans. Personally I like the sunray blue. That so-called Tiffany blue does bugger all for me.

I have the same issue with watch drift in the same direction, to the outside of my wrist. I always would wonder why and what I could do to help prevent it from happening. Even if I make a strap or bracelet tight to my wrist it happens. I'll move the links as you do, hopefully it will help. I have a 7.5 inch wrist. Thanks for the help.

The issue with the 36mm is that the markers are too short and stubby for the maxi case the 41mm markers are much more proportionate
