I got to see him at the House of Blues in LA in the 00s. Godlike. He was a gentleman and a scholar. Nobody can touch his career. It’s not about hits or accomplishments. It’s about forever bringing it only the way he can.

I appeared with my friends in Paul Weller's The Jam's 'When you're Young' video in Kilburn Square. It was a real first for me as a 12 yr old kid in 1979 to be in a music promotional video for one of the top groups at that time. Paul, Bruce, and Rick were down to earth and nice to work with. I'm glad to know that he's still performing over 40 years later.

Amazing catalogue of GREAT Songs from an Amazing career. The Jam material is outstanding , a lot of his rockier solo tunes sound more "american" than the Jam.....the way he sings em and the general sound/style.

Barry is probably one of the most sought after guitarists for session work with his unique playing style........ A fabulous musician who has worked with a load of big names as you said from Primal to Morrissey/The The/Weller/Edwyn collins /Saint Etienne/Johnny Marr/The Chemical Brothers to name just a few.
