I'm autistic and I will always admire Emilia Clarke for her playing Daenerys Targaryen and Sarah Connor and for being a survivor and helping raise awareness for people who have suffered from brain injuries and have disabilities and both Emilia and Jennifer deserve to win the MBE for their dedication and their foundation of SameYou. I suffered a severe brain injury when I was 17 in a car crash, and it absolutely turned my life around. No one outside my close friends/family seemed terribly concerned! Even now 11 years later, I've had people tell me to stop using it as an excuse for my memory etc. If you look physically fine, no one cares!

Well, this stranger on the internet cares! I hope you are doing OK. People seem to be severely lacking in empathy these days. I've been housebound for the last 2 years with an illness, and no-one outside my immediate family and friends cares. Even my doctor isn't bothered about what's causing it and how it's affecting my mental state. It's depressing as hell.

Emilia explaining quite literally FOR ME personally, was a stroke. The tightening of the brain and your limbs shutting down to become paralysed bt stil Conscious & violently ill in seconds. Respect for this actress n her Mum ❤for the amazing work that requires treating brain injuries,(hidden injury) recovery all OT n rehab worked wonders for getting back to almost able normal Again.

So, I'm an American from literally half a world away. What's more, I'm not a huge GoT fan... I watched a few episodes here and there but I wasn't riveted to it. My impressions of Emilia are from other work she's done [including that Gawdawful Terminator movie]. But she is an ambassador for her cause at every turn and it's a minor miracle that she can speak, is cognizant and aware, and is engaged with her life. I hope her future prognosis allows her to stay that way. So CONGRATULATIONS to Jenny and Emilia. TBI's are no joke and their advocacy is a needed thing.

Congratulations ❤️ I work with special children in a school as a teaching assistant I believe that any child or adult who has disabilities should be cared for and to try to teach and help them to try to live a normal life as much as they can in society My son is 19 he is on the autistic spectrum and has mental health conditions his been this way his whole life its been many trips from the age of 4 till he was 16 to hospitals clinics and counsellors As a parent dealing with this for many years I decided a year ago to work with special needs children as I am a parent who has been through this with my own child and understand how difficult it is for the child and their families

I have a brain 🧠 injury from way back in Sydney in 2002 I saved a 15 year old girl who was getting attacked by 7 males they used bricks 🧱 to cave my head in with knocked off my left index finger 3 skull fractures bleeding on my brain died 3 times on the operating table 19 days in a coma 10 months of rehab learning to walk and talk again and a permanent brain injury my short term memory is very bad 🔥
